This would be a fun equation to put together, I'm too lazy to try and figure out the first step tho.

How To Win The Presidency With 23 Percent Of The Popular Vote

"A candidate only needs to win the 11 states with the most electoral votes to hit 270. Assuming only two candidates (a big assumption; see below) and that one candidate won all of those states by just one vote, and then didn't win a single vote in any of the other states (or D.C.), how many votes would that candidate have to win?"

It's less rural vs city and just look at the damn kid's home life and the region of the city they live in. If a kid is picked up on their first charge and it's for breaking into a Burger King and attempting to break into the cash registers but mom keeps making excuses for the kid... maybe some harsher punishment is needed cause obviously the home won't care.

Right now I have a friend with a 13 year old step kid. In a matter of 2 weeks he's been charged with multiple break ins possession of a stolen gun and assault with a knife.

And before that a laundry list of theft and bande charges since he was 10.

His mama does make excuses for him and for most his life his home life has been terrible.

I'm pretty sure if they don't lock this kid up he's going to actually kill someone. I'm not sure you can fix people who are gone past a certain point

To help the UK naval power. Since the uk navy is no where near what it needs to be or should be, they dont have enough F35's to man there current carriers and they also made a stupid ass choice on using a dumb ski jump instead a catapult system
About 30 years ago I read in a joke book something like "What do you call a polish girl with big lips? A ski jump"

It's been 30 years and I haven't forgotten that I don't get it.

Yea dude its a Lotta complex problem with no easy answers. Like a 15 year old from the hood and the burbs isn't the same animal. A 15 year old from the hood is an adult and thats too late for intervention

Everything I've read says personality is like 95% formed by age seven.

You can, it isn't easy though and they're gonna need some professional help from therapists.

The big issue is gangs for how much everyone talks shit about them are surprisingly smart/up with current laws. They use kids for all their super dirty shit cause they know kids under a certain age face no real consequences.

You see it portrayed in The Wire and Breaking Bad both.

He got almost all of the letters. Just swap that extra n for a u and we're cooking

"Just sound it out and you'll get it close."

I think drugs being made legal is a huge piece of solving the problem. I'm aware gangs know all to well how to game the system.

If you can't stop the game you do the next best thing and take control of it.

Cosmetic surgeons are a goldmine. Stare at tits all day and make bank

If it wasn't for Jean Reno in Waco we wouldn't have had the Oklahoma City sequel.

Wouldn’t it be even less than that if you took it to the extreme of the winning candidate getting one vote total to win those states and the losing candidate getting all the other states eligible voters? You likely could get it under 1% I would think.

he said that to me. it was a classic. its an automatic fail when you tell people how smart you are on the net in general. when you say you are smarter than cornell west its on another level.

@bobgeese
But what if I am on another level?

j/k people who brag about how smart they are in public are projecting their insecurity over being dumb. Especially that twat.

The loser would be getting 49.99999% of the 11 most populous states

I think the math works

By their math the 23% popular vote is the bare minimum to win >50% in the 11 biggest states.

Did a quick and dirty calc

11 most populous states make up 186.5M people out of 330M in the US..... 50% of of 186.5M is 93.25M.... 93.25M divided by 330M is 28%

Go figure, not reading a book in nearly 10 years makes for a bad writer.

I don't know how a vet would write that story, its close but noticeably fiction. I was working backwards from a joke I've told for years. My dad doesn't like to talk about his time in vietnam. He killed 30 men, but that was the 90's.

Maybe I’m reading this wrong but if only one vote total is cast in each of 11 states and it’s for the winner, wouldn’t they win with 100% of the vote? Is there some time of minimum vote tally for the electoral votes to count (I wouldn’t think so). I might be making my example more extreme then what they are proposing.
