[Edit: I was running short of time and the post ran off the rails a bit, but here goes FWIW]
Oh hey. That reminds me. Have you ever heard of the Epoch Times? It appears to be some woman's sole mission in life to fill a newspaper with anti-Chinese rhetoric and tie it to political leaders in the counties in which she publishes it. We got a free copy in the mail. Apparently, there was even an effort to stop it being distributed in Canada,
Federal government says Canada Post must deliver Epoch Times despite union objection
"Union rep asked minister to halt delivery of coronavirus issue over carrier concerns it could stoke hate"
On one hand, it blames China for the pandemic and alluded to suggestions it was deliberate. So, that's caused a big controversy as you would expect. The thing is, that will draw the attention of people sympathetic to that suggestion.
On the other hand, it several pages of stories in addition to that. Now, I didn't bother to read them because I would have no idea how much of it is true and how much is anti-China propaganda, but I was wondering if you might care to case your better-educated eye on what this woman, Cindy Gu, is up to. According to this other news story, she chose to distribute it in "specific neighbourhoods."
Interestingly, in response to the CBC's reporting, I just found a letter the Epoch Times sent to them,

Perfectly reasonable, and if true, something I can agree with wholeheartedly. I can't disagree with this, for example,
4) Some people may have erroneously conflated criticism of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) with
criticism of the Chinese people. The Chinese Communist Party does not represent the Chinese
people or China. Understanding the difference is vital and will eliminate racial tension, as
people come to understand that the criticism of the handling of the virus is of the CCP, not the Chinese
people.
I have used the same reasoning in reference to criticism of Netanyahu and his government as opposed to criticism of Jews as a people.
But then, they say,
5) Regarding the Wuhan lab, it is a small part of our reporting on the coronavirus. China silenced early
whistleblowers, destroyed samples, and falsified data. We simply asked questions like many others....
That, taken together with the fact that it's still a newspaper that is filled front to back with negative stories about China, mean a lot of people will miss or ignore the subtlety of number 4, don't you think? Sorry for the long post, didn't start out that way. I guess what I am getting at is can you peruse it and see if there are more cases of "just asking questions" suggesting things that are probably not true?
