Homer brought this on himself. He was on borrowed time. We all joke about it, but the mods here put in work. You want to disrupt everyone's time and become a nuisance, you are marking yourself. He's the biggest snitch this forum has ever seen. Non stop reports over a long period of time and most of them were not legit.

At the end of the day most people here are male, aka men. Just handle the dispute among yourselves. There's even a fuckin PM function.

He decided that he wanted to turn his OT drama into every forum. He's gotten away with quite a lot over the years and pushed the envelope. He needed a break from the site because he was being a complete asshole and making everything difficult.

I even said in my thread in the OT, I didn't hold him to anything. He broke code in the OT and really fucked up and most people from there hate him. For some reason, I fucking let it slide and continued on with the guy. But it is what it is, he non stop reported people for everything and anything. I don't touch the button. At the end of the day, this website is owned by people. What he did is go to corporate. At any job if you do that, it better be good.

I want to believe he was just trolling for his own amusement, but I think the dude may have some serious issues, and was breaking away from reality. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a "President Of The War Room" plaque made up for himself.

All he said was to report Homer, if he did things worth reporting. What's wrong with that?

Homer reported people for disagreeing with him. That's not a reason to report people.

Homer is just your buddy, so you're going to ignore his incessant trolling that could've got him banned a hundred times over, if everyone was as a big of a bitch as he was, and smashed the report button on his ass whenever he flamed the shit out of people. I could've personally reported a few thousand posts of his, but I never did.

Sounds like some other people finally got sick of his shit. GTFO trying to paint this banning as anything remotely unfair.

The report system isn't a meta-game to try and one up your "opposition" on here.
If you report people for minor flaming in arguments you initiate, then complain to admin/crave when things don't go the way you want, you can expect your behaviour to get a lot of scrutiny.
Likewise if you're asked to stop making frivolous reports and you continue to average around 4 every 5 days.
It's unfortunate that Homer made the reporting thing his gimmick, and campaigned on it for the WR Presidency (although the narrative that he was responsible for the bans of posters planning to disrupt the forum in PMs is nonsense). He hasn't been the only poster in the War Room doing this though.
