Oh wow, so actually good. I'm super casual, pretty much never play ranked and only play QP classic and other arcade modes.

I wouldn't say I'm that good. I tend to be team leader for our group, I study the maps, spend a lot of time on Overwatch University. But I'm a one trick for each category. I can cause a lot of mayhem as ball.

Map familiarity, teamwork, and call outs can win most games. I almost exclusively play competitive though. Who do you like playing?

Edit:I'm also real proud of the Chomskyandchill tag lol. Random chatters will be like "who is Chomsky?" And I'm all.

I just thought it was worth noting as I’m familiar with the process over here and was pretty sure a liberal area like Oregon would have a similar moratorium. We’ve done a couple evictions but one was ordered years ago and the others were for people who were terrorizing their neighbors through various means lol.

I think people in this area are particularly nervous given the aforementioned history of shady shit. I did research for a housing advocacy group back before covid and things were already dicey. Part of the concern is probably overblown, but i'm not holding my breath. One thing that never gets enough attention imo is how crises get used to push for more affordable housing, but then it doesn't end up affordable in any way, shape or form. We've got a bad problem with that. Neighborhoods get re-developed (gentrified) first, which is bad enough, but then these large property companies get huge windfalls to build low income housing which ends up being lived in exclusively by trust fund kids and whatnot. It's pushing the actual affordable-ish housing farther and farther away from the city, and it was already pretty far, which increases low income strain. The people i've talked with that work around this stuff in City Hall haven't exactly given me a lot of confidence, either. There's a big "low income" development being negotiated in the area of the city that has the bulk of the homeless/at-risk services (emergency shelter, etc.) and i'm really worried. Part of the reason this county has so many homeless people is because we have way more services, including overnight shelters, and changing property laws/values is going to hit the people least capable of handling it. Then again, I suspect that might be low-key part of why that area was targeted, which is ugly to think but fully on brand.
Sorry for the tangent. This stuff is always rolling around in my mind.

That's what I like about Overwatch, you don't actually have to be a good fps player to do well if you understand the strategy/tactics of the game and the meta and match ups and stuff. I kinda suck at fps games so its fun to play one where I don't have to grind for hours to git gud.

I'm a little ashamed to admit I love playing as Torb and to a lesser extent Bastion, heroes that require more strategy than skill. Lots of people cry about Bastion when I play him in QP.

Tracer is so much fun but I am no good with her, I only pick her if there's an enemy Zen because he's a sitting duck for her. I also play Zen, not too good with his standard fire anymore but I think I'm pretty good at deciding who needs to be healed or debuffed and I'm getting better at timing the ults.

Trying to learn Brigitte because she is adorable as a character and her kit is cool. My go to tank is D.Va, love playing her but I'll play Zarya if there's an enemy D.Va since she's a hard counter. Sometimes I'll go Rein, not really good at him but the upside of that is that I'm not confident to fly into the enemy team like the stereotypical Rein main so I actually focus on keeping the shield up for my teammates as much as possible. I also play Mercy if there's a Pharah or Soldier on my team, not great as her but she has such synergy with those two you don't really have to be to help out.

It’s cheap for Maui. You gotta be willing to pretty much rebuild the whole thing though. I can’t fathom how these people live like they do. Just disgusting filth and no pride of ownership is what you see in most evictions.
