I hate myself for saying this but I had the vague feeling it was a work, but only because I think Sonnen can easily be bought. The fact is, Fedor looked in shape and ready.
Yeah relieved to see no hint of a work there. It was a surprisingly good fight for a couple of washed up dudes.

Hes quick and still has power, be he did gas 3 mins in.

WHOA

That was the best Fedor I've seen in probably 10 years. With the throws, the escapes, the ground and pound.

He was facing an old, heavyweight Chael Sonnen. Lets not get carried away.

I like Bader, and think he should be favored, but I hope Fedor punches his head off.

I'm already sad for the death that Ryan Bader is going to do Fedor's dome.

Of course I said the same thing when Bader fought Tito, so there's hope lol.

That was his best win since Arlovski.

Even with Mir, he looked weak and chinny. Here he looked quick, strong, and smart.

I won't take anything away. He looked good, but I'm taking his unnatural HW, and kinda part time opponent into consideration.

Really? What about that silly move with no body control by Sonnen that gave Fedor top position when Sonnen was firmly in control (or so it appeared). I admit my bias and it never crossed my mind until then, but that particular move looked calculated to let Fedor off the positional hook.

Chael was just being stupid and flashy imo, trying a trick move that Fedor literally Fedor-shrugged out of. He explained it in the post-fight. That fight was too violent to be any kind of work.

What about the times Fedor pounded the fuck out of Sonnen's face?

If it was a work, I hope Sonnen got paid well to stay conscious.
