Do you guys know if any states combat multi-level marketing schemes? It just occurred to me all these contractor vs employee designations on gig economy jobs seem odd if those other “jobs” aren’t put under pressure. Those places usually even take money from the person in return for their work. Why isn’t it easy to argue they should be employees instead of contractors?
