Yeah I am totally not equipped to answer to this. My sample size is limited to my experience and that is mostly from gay friends and acquaintances from decades ago. I would take you word for it that many gay men are now the paragon of raging masculinity. Either times have changed or I was just exposed to people that met the stereo type more.

In the purest sense: when gay people are talking about 'masculinity', they mean muscles. Masculine = Muscular Body. That's It. To straight dudes, masculine is not sucking dick. And yea, homos probably have visible abs at a highly disporportionate rate. Gay Black Men in particular are jacked beyond any reasonable belief, but very few of them are openly gay. I read a study a while back that found gays are 50% less likely to be obese than straight men. Interestingly, lezbos were twice as likely to be obese as straight women. <45>
