it really makes me laugh as a ton of folks I went to high school with are the types to change their FB profile pics to a rainbow, or a black screen for different causes and shit and then ask for good "protest" songs or some shit to listen to and I recommend them shit like this:

"That's too dark" or "It's too in your face"

Like, bitch... I lean right and I fucking love DK cause they target fucking EVERYONE

I'm sure @AgonyandIrony can kind of get it. The most "protesty" some folks I went to high school with is this:

Like, oh... good for you, you think American Idiot is peak protest songs where they target the easiest to target president in modern history prior to Trump. You fucking dipshits. At least branch out to like Eisbrecher's Was Ist Heir Los where they jump down the throat of media for focusing the public on stupid shit rather than issues that matter.

I... fucking hate Green Day. I get real snobby when they come up.

I've been vibing real hard on Against Me! today.

What for if you feel like sharing

Np, I've mentioned it before. I hurt myself squatting back in October and developed some debilitating sciatica a couple of weeks later. I was sent to physical therapy diagnosed with piriformis syndrome, but one appointment exacerbated the problem and nearly put me in the ER. I probably should've gone to the ER actually. The experience redefined pain for me.

So once I could get out of bed again I went to see an orthopedic specialist who ordered the MRI suspecting a herniated disc or some other issue with the nerves in my lower back.

Alice in Chains is the only good band to come out of that scene.
It was the same scene, but they were mostly different bands.

Pearl Jam had its biggest success early on, but they evolved more into a folk rock band.

Nirvana was a house/garage punk band that blew up at the right place right time at the tail end of the metal/glam pop era by doing a rock/pop album. Their sound overall is more comparable to Mudhoney or early Pixies than Pearl Jam.

Alice in Chains is just straight-up hard rock.

Tombstone might be may favorite movie regardless of genre. Always loved Val Kilmer and that's his best performance. The entire cast is fantastic with Kurt Russell, Sam Elliot, Powers Boothe, Bill Paxton, Michael Beihn, Steven Lang and Michael Rocker.

What's not to like?

I'll admit The Quick and The Dead is a guilty pleasure that not many people like.
Quick and the Dead is a great movie imo
I don't like a lot of westerns but that one was entertaining

Rusty Chains and Jesus Christ Pose are their only good songs tho...

They weren't PNW, but I feel like Blind Melon gets forgotten all too often in these conversations
Shannon Hoon could really, really sing.
