I'm glad other people are waking up to the doors not being good. I've taken a lot of shit over the years for that opinion.

I seriously hate Jim Morrison. He's not deep or profound he's high as fuck and rambling and those 2 things aren't the same.

And no bass player and rays annoying organ. Good golly that band does not appeal to me

We can let this slide if you like Credence.

<{walkerwhut}>

Of all the westerns, why those two?

Tombstone might be may favorite movie regardless of genre. Always loved Val Kilmer and that's his best performance. The entire cast is fantastic with Kurt Russell, Sam Elliot, Powers Boothe, Bill Paxton, Michael Beihn, Steven Lang and Michael Rocker.

What's not to like?

I'll admit The Quick and The Dead is a guilty pleasure that not many people like.

Pearl Jam very bad.

Nirvana very good.
Of the PNW bands. Queensryche.

That I can get behind. I think growing up in the PNW so many friends of mine listened to like Smells like Teen Spirit non-stop when I was in high school it turned me off. And so many tried to start garage bands that mimmicked the sound it pissed me off and pushed me to stuff like this in high school

Love Nirvana, think Pearl Jam is kind of meh
I remember going to the Experience Music Project as a kid for some school field trip and just sorta shrugging about the fact there's an entire section for Nirvana. Friends were like "DUDE, let's go look at the Nirvana exhibit" and I'm off to the side:
"But, Jimi Hendrix......."

This one's a toe-tapper from Portland.

it really makes me laugh as a ton of folks I went to high school with are the types to change their FB profile pics to a rainbow, or a black screen for different causes and shit and then ask for good "protest" songs or some shit to listen to and I recommend them shit like this:

"That's too dark" or "It's too in your face"

Like, bitch... I lean right and I fucking love DK cause they target fucking EVERYONE

I'm sure @AgonyandIrony can kind of get it. The most "protesty" some folks I went to high school with is this:

Like, oh... good for you, you think American Idiot is peak protest songs where they target the easiest to target president in modern history prior to Trump. You fucking dipshits. At least branch out to like Eisbrecher's Was Ist Heir Los where they jump down the throat of media for focusing the public on stupid shit rather than issues that matter.

I feel ya dude. I like pearl jam but I think most nirvana songs are abrasive.

Its always fun when you dislike bands everyone else likes
It was fun being that guy in high school and college that listened to a variety of shit cause now I have friends that aren't right leaners approaching me like:
"Have you heard of this guy Eric Church?"
"No... I JUST LISTEN TO HIS SHIT ON REPEAT ALL THE TIME AND HAVE TOLD YOU ABOUT HIM"
"Oh.... he just released this song..."
"Criticizing country music for only caring about sales and not telling a story like they used to right?"
"Right...."
"You fucking idiot, I told you about this WHEN HE RELEASED IT 7 MONTHS AGO"
"....."

Song for reference:

Another good example is that show Yellowstone usese a TON of greeat music in it, frankly it's one of the best parts of that show. Friend:
"Holy shit, you see the episode of Yellowstone in the bar"
"His name is Whisky Myers"
"How did you know?"
"I've been listening to his music for 3 years and told you about him"
"What about that song from the trailer scene"
"Party Like You by Cadillac Three"

The song:

The scene it's in has a livestock cop driving a horse trailer around with two handcuffed dudes in the back thrashing them around by stomping on the gas and the brakes and shit cause they beat the hell out of a barrel racer at a rodeo.

Tombstone is alright. But it's not in like the top 50 of westerns all time. What about it in particular does it for you that the others dont?

I was thinking I could recommend you one, but that depends on why you like it.

just watched tombstone recently, fun but didn't live up to the hype

kilmer carried the whole film

I don't know near enough about old school cap and ball/black powder revolvers to know if you can do what Tuco does here in real life but this scene will stay with me till the day I die over most of what is in Tombstone. But I also saw it before I saw Tombstone.
