I recently just watched the Dark Side of the Ring episode for Owen. Bret was always my favorite growing up, but Owen was #2. I always really liked Owen, sometimes moreso than Bret because he had a cruiserweight style.
He used to party all the time and do drugs with Raven when he was there as Johnny Polo. Then Raven came back in 2000 and Vince was like "Who the fuck rehired Johnny Polo?"
Yeah, he wasn't a great wrestler, and he understood that early on. So his gimmick became "The son of the boss nearly killing himself on live TV infront of millions of people."
