Yes, when you forgive a loan, you don't get paid back the rest of what you're owed.
I should've said fed/private institutions instead of college earlier, then this would make more sense.

If the general number of $1.5 trillion dollars in total student loan debt in the US is anywhere close to being accurate, then I don't see how it's possible for a total forgiveness situation without the feds and private institutions taking a catastrophic hit.

You would have hurt his feelings
But how would I have been able to tell?

The private institutions were already paid. The gov't will get a little less revenue than expected over a long period of time.

Also, if the govt is getting a little less revenue, then they are going to not only make it up, but increase it in other areas in order to compete globally and to pay for other domestic expenditures. We both know this.

Once again: I wish Democrats and Biden were as cool as conservatives think they are.

That account is hilarious.

"We promote viewpoint diversity to limit the effects of authoritarian ideology."

Yet every entry is right wing shit posting. Criticizing Fox News for being too liberal and RT-ing Jack Posobiec.

I've got a Bernie Sanders Run the Jewel shirt coming in but I think I'm going to get the "Find Out" John Brown shirt. There's a cool "John Brown Did Nothing Wrong" shirt on another site I might pick up lol.

Anti Malarkey Action "C'mon Man" slays me though.

I don't think many people think Brown did anything wrong.

Man up and get a Fidel Did Nothing Wrong or Lenin Did Nothing Wrong shirt.

Please stop.
I'm genuinely curious. I understand insurance and the cycle gap in bank revenue, but if a private institution like a bank (or otherwise, like a student credit union) gives out a student loan, and it's not paid, then there would be a loss somewhere, no? If I'm wrong, then educate me.

Because gov'ts are generally fanatical about balancing budgets?
