Seriously though, $2 million for Khabib and $3 million for Conor. That's just guaranteed, prior to PPV points. I read that Ferg only got $150,000.

It looks to me like Conor went to jump out to aid his team and starts fighting with a dude while on the fence. He gets pulled down and spots what I think is one of khabibs dudes coming near him again and starts swinging on him and another dude attacks from behind

I dont like to make excuses for conor but
1 he was just in fight took shots and got subbed so im not sure where his mind is at
2 just got attacked by a dude a second prior to throwing blows
3 there is chaos going on around him and sometimes you dont have as much time to think about how to react to whats going on around you and also see 1 and 2

The reason Khabib doesnt get to use 1 2 and 3 however is he won the fight them jumped out of the cage and attacked a guy ( doesnt matter what he said) and was the aggressor that kicked off the whole riot


The problem we have here is that we know punishments should be handed out but Conor didnt get one so it would be extremely unfair to then turn around and throw the book at khabib. THis is where dana and WME are largely responsible and why they really need to figure out how to regain control of the situation

God damn 2 mil for khabib?

I wonder how much of that he will actually see. You know Allah is going to make him give all that dough to his teammates and masters.

Yea, putting myself in conors position (after the fight sitting on my ass with a hurt face) - I don't think there would be a worse position to be in at that moment. Shit would be a nightmare.

Conor was punished by the State of New York, though.

I agree that the UFC should have suspended him for some period of time, to show they take the conduct of their athletes seriously.

Honestly they need a new commissioner, and an overhaul of how they handle fighters. They need to bite the bullet and create a code of conduct and make the fighters employees. It's a blend of prize fighting, and being a professional sports league, and it's time to start being more of a professional sports league.

The best part about the whole thing is Herb Dean trying to get his fat ass over the cage to go after Khabib.
But he fails after 30 cm and is just like ah fuck this shit.

He did the same thing with Conor involving the dolly. Khabib is likely going to get fined hard from the other parties outside of the UFC and Dana gets that they should see how that plays out first

Ok he is consistently hypocritical? He does not like it, he is appalled, he does not even care about the PPV numbers this is so bad. Wait what, of course I’ll use the footage in the next promo, it’s part of the story. No, I don’t think sanctions make a difference theses guys really, really, really don’t like each other.
