Both guys should be suspended, but if anyone should should get banned for life it is Conor. He tried to jump the fence, too, but was stopped by security. He hit one of Khabib's corner men while hanging on the fence, and another one that jumped in the ring before he got hit from behind. Plus the bus incident. The behavior is way more of a pattern with Conor than Khabib.

I totally disagree, unless you want to suspend him for the bus incident. Conor didn't do anything last night, and I don't know what you were watching, but Conor was attacked first.

Also, if someone jumps into the cage illegally and Conor punches him as he's being rushed, that's just self defense.

I just saw the footage, and Conor did jump on top of the cage and swipe at Khabib's guy, but doesn't touch him. He's then attacked by 2 different guys, at least, one from behind.

Conor shouldn't have jumped on the cage, but after that I don't blame him for defending himself. He's not the one at fault this time. Blaming "both sides" is ridiculous.

I think we are well past the point where more and more really stupid things happen and we just have to shrug and say, oh well part of the sport.

Sadly, it's just good business. It's like people forgot the bottle throwing incident already or something. Dana may not be prompting these guys to do this shit, but he is certainly facilitating it. They've come a long way since Paul Daley's lifetime ban, mind you. There was a time when this kind of stuff hand consequences. Not anymore, not in the multi-billion dollar purchase price days.

On an NFL note, regarding this new kick-rule where the kick coverage stands still and can't move until the ball is kicked. Does it all but eliminate the on-side kick? They were hard enough to recover. What coach is gonna call a sneaky one to open the second half now? Maybe they should at east let dudes get a running start if an on-side kick is announced. Keeps more drama going at the end of games.

Westerners are slower to anger but absolutely willing to fight to the death once you get them going
