@Prokofievian Swiping left on Dutchies so fast, I don't even doubt myself.
And we haven't even begun to discuss inglorious basterds.
This scene is one of the greatest in film history.
Great tension., build up, dialogue, foreign language etc.
Agreed...
This wasn't his greatest work but the scene above and this one below are phenomenal.
LOL I agree with those guys too.Ahhhh, that's what I thought.
I would apply this to the Saw directors, or Hostel...and even Rob Zombie to a lesser extent.
An edgelord is someone on an internet forum who deliberately talks about controversial, offensive, taboo, or nihilistic subjects in order to shock other users in an effort to appear cool, or edgy.
Ahhhh, that's what I thought.

I think you can use both ways to be honest with you.If that's correct, then I've been misusing the term. I just use it to mean someone who is deliberately edgy and cynical because they think it makes them appear cool.
LOLHe turned down the Morpheus role in the Matrix to make the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Hostel did suck but it have the top horror scene imo.
(spoilers for a super old movie)
when he saves that girl who had her eye torn out and their at the train station, she sees her reflection and in that moment decides to jump in front of the train. I think the best movies are the ones that touch on the human condition and the dark side of what humanity is capable of. In that scene, you think the characters have escaped and won but she didn’t feel the same due to how much she valued her appearance and just let despair overwhelm her in that moment. Truly sad and horrifying to me.

Very iconic for sure. That opening scene also was great. I don’t know where I rank it out of all his movies but it’s up there.
Opening scene is that scene but leveled up. imo. I liked this one of course, but it couldn't top what already happened.
Agreed, opening scene of IG is one of QT’s greatest scenes. also, IG is overrated af as a whole. Bottom 3 QT movie imo.Opening scene is that scene but leveled up. imo. I liked this one of course, but it couldn't top what already happened.

That doesn’t make sense though because those movies were 5 years apart. He turned down the Morpheus role in the Matrix to make the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
