Anybody have experience with no competes? Like, if someone signed one a decade ago for a pre-sales/technical sales position and has since transferred to a completely different business line, nothing to do with sales, would they be in violation for jumping to a competitor in the same business line?
My assumption is no, but then I don’t really get how no compete’s can be enforced To begin with.
One life, one boss imo.

He turned down the Morpheus role in the Matrix to make the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Do not care. I enjoyed league of extraordinary gentlemen.

Besides if he had done Morpheus, it would have just looked like he was rehashing his role as Ramirez from the Highlander.

That doesn’t make sense though because those movies were 5 years apart.
I do know that Will Smith turned down playing Neo so he could be in Wild Wild West instead.

Connery turned down Gandalf. That's the big blunder under his belt. Not sure about the Morpheus stuff.

Man, that would’ve been so weird. I can’t see how he would’ve did that role better than the guy they had.

I have checked; apparently he said he was offered a role in the matrix which he turned down (the architect it appears).

Agreed, opening scene of IG is one of QT’s greatest scenes. also, IG is overrated af as a whole. Bottom 3 QT movie imo.

1. True Rimance*
2. Pulp Fuction
3. Reservoir Dogs
4. Kill Bill 1
5. Kill Bill 2
6. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
8. Jackie Brown
9. Django Unchained
10. Death proof
11. Inglorious Bastards
12. Hateful 8

*not directed by, but written by, qt, and while he’s written several things he hasn’t directed, this is his greatest work.

I love True Romance and it's probably because he didn't direct it lol
