What amazes me about this forum is that whenever someone gets killed during a protest, people here passionately discuss whether it was a 'good shot' etc.

Now let me state some assumptions which I find to be self-evident, so I am gonna call them facts.

Fact: Guns have no place at or near a protest. They discourage freedom of speech and - we have ample evidence for this by now - introduce a potentiality of lethal violence that otherwise would not exist.

Fact: 'Spontaneous' protests and demonstrations should be ended and shut down quickly.

Fact: Protests where a significant percentage of participants ignores social distancing or mask rules should be ended and shut down quickly.

Fact: Police should properly separate political factions and cordon off the area properly. Cars are not supposed to be even near that area.

I don't see how any of this can be in doubt, but nobody ever discusses this entire topic as structural failure of police.

I agree with most of this aside maybe spontaneous protests. The problem is the protest is on the police themselves so having them manage where people go when a protest shows up isn’t likely to go over well with someone looking to escalate it and have it go viral. Or the amount of protestors is far too much to handle at a single time so the cops can merely try to block off different areas from it spreading if there’s property damage going on. I agree when they are blocking traffic or stuff like that, cops need to immediately begin arrests and removal from the street. There was a video a year or so back of a group in Seattle redirecting traffic and people being pissed cause they could see a cop car parked and just letting it go on. It’s a situation where one group is saying we can break the rules of society, then we have enough social pressure on the enforcers of those rules to let them do it, and it slides into bad situations. There’s different state laws on guns but I think it’s absolutely insane someone from a counter protest thinks they should be welding a weapon in front of the opposite protest crowd.

I get ones from "Netflix" for about 4 days every month and it's hilarious the typos and how jacked the Emails are.

My dad got scammed by some guys claiming to be from "Microsoft" and needing to install a security feature on their computer. Well, long story short I called them and reamed the guys on the phone out and you could hear the guy covering up laughing and his buddies behind him laughing:
"Hey fuckface, I doubt a Microsoft employee would be laughing about a customer saying they are going to call the FBI and shit to report them for hacking into private computers. If you really ARE Microsoft, you think your boss and board of directors will like having to pay my folks and I so much money we can buy 5 houses off of it and we all get brand new cars?"
"Uuuuhhhh"
"Yeah, so you aren't fucking Microsoft. Refund my dad's money or I am taking what his card was charged for to the cops... local, state, and federal. I am sure one of them would love to go after you, hope you can grab your ankles well"

2 days later my dad got the money refunded and I took their computer to get the HD replaced to make sure whatever those dipshits put on it wasn't there anymore.

The spring one was outright cancelled, the fall one they did virtually with only like the higher ups of the Church giving their lectures in the lecture hall broadcasted on YouTube and the Tabernacle Choir pre-recorded songs for it.

So far none of them tested positive based on what the local news shows are saying.
