I like Mick. He is so helpful in the computers forum. He gives out a lot of advice to others and is always happy to help them build the right PC at the right budget. I've leaned on him a few times, and he never fails.

His war room posting leaves a bit to be desired at times, IIRC he was a huge Rubio fan. That's gotta be tough these days. And he's had a few setbacks on other issues, and gets a bit emotional at times, but all in all he's a pretty entertaining poster.

Edit: I will say I do find it amusing how the computer folks will spend hours and hours debating over which system will push out an extra couple frames per seconds to the games. You gotta be really into the scene I guess. I kind of have a "you get what you pay for" attitude and there's a cost/benefit for doing so much analysis, but I think they really like it.

But neither are funny at all. Like not a drop of natural comedy.

like @Fawlty has a naturally funny dry sense of humor. It comes easy to some people. Others try so hard and miss every single time. Those two miss all the time.

Fawlty is not funny. I find most of his content very forced. He strikes me as the type that is really into comedy but just doesn't have the talent for it. In that sense he's like the Joe Rogan of the WR. People like Tonni are naturally funny. Jack is actually funny too but in a surreptitious way. Jack jokes more than people notice. Trotsky is funny too altho tbh I'm not always sure when he's joking or being serious.

Got kinda chilly in here fwiw imho.

Today I gave my new disc golf pull-cart its maiden voyage. What a fantastic beast she is. Also I threw a disc really far, but also threw some that hit trees and didn't go far. Pretty rad, tbh.
You can't just carry your frisbees , are you so frail you need a cart ?

To each their own. I find Fawlty is hilarious most of the time.

I was hopping through this wiki page on federal polical scandal in recent US history and came across this quote:

  • Secretary of Agriculture Earl Butz (R) was asked privately why the party of Lincoln was not able to attract more blacks. Butz replied: "I'll tell you what the coloreds want. It's three things: first, a tight pussy; second, loose shoes; and third, a warm place to shit." Butz resigned soon afterwards on October 4, 1976.
