If that's actually you, then I apologize but also stand by my statement.

Are YOU accusing me of living like a poor?

I am many things Trots, but poor is not fucking one of them. Call me a weeb. Hell, I mark out for wrasslin sometimes, let's play the Raven "What a Mark" clip. I'll even accept sexual deviant if i'm feeling it! But never fucking poor.

Does that guy live like a poor?

I definitely live like a poor. My living room currently has one chair, one table, a TV, and a bookcase full of literature that will completely change your whole way of thinking, and that's it.

<{poor?}>

Come now Trots, "Does that guy live like a poor"? <Lmaoo><Lmaoo>

Shower curtains? Off brand mouthwash? Look at that lotion, does that look like good lotion to you? Absolutely poor. Where's the frosted glass? The color coded ambiance? The panache?

Even if you are poor, you don't have to live like a poor. Unless you do have to live like a poor in which case I have to say "Damn homie". I hope somebody plays The Story of O.J. for you soon.

@Fawlty You see that Ann Wagner is attacking Schupp, saying she opposes preexisting conditions coverage?

When Wagner opposed the ACA. And supported the AHCA. And Schupp supports M4A.

Congressional Republicans in Illinois are doing the same thing: running on an Obamacare provision that they've opposed and saying Democrats are against it. It's fucking shameless.

I'm going to say something my progressive friends might not like. I do not think Trump was signaling white supremacist groups or even the Proud Boys to actually "stand by" as if waiting for action, in the way it's being portrayed in the media. While I understand this reaction, I really do think it was a slurry of words that he essentially meant to say "stand down" and not to cause trouble in the election. Yes, him not taking the opportunity to clearly condemn them was irresponsible and typical of him, but it was not imo any sort of "order" in any way, and wasn't meant in solidarity with them.

I think that's fairly likely, as we know he's a nervous rambler and not at all precise with his words. But....how much more benefit of the doubt can we spot for him on this issue? And it's not like the context of the statement helps him, as he was actively fear mongering about leftist violence and justifying the threat of right wing groups.

He might have stumbled over his words, but here's the whole exchange:

So even in broader context, if he's telling them to chill out, he still follows by saying that someone (presumably not the police) has to "do something" about the left.

Might be read as pure deflection, though. Like afterwards he demanded Biden distance himself from Antifa (obviously a retarded talking point, see e.g. below)

I'm willing to admit this is possible (if not likely)
However, regardless of how it was intended, the Proud Boys/neo fascist groups most certainly took it as both command and endorsement.

That's the problem with the "it's just a joke and you take it so serious" defense. Like it can very well be a joke, but when people start acting upon it in a serious manner, should I not start taking it seriously? If they're owning it, i'm gonna call it like I see it.

And therein rests the power of coded language, something Trump and the entire reactionary half of our country understands quite well

To respond to you and everyone else basically, I am keenly aware of this and call it out a lot. I think this wasn't quite that.

But you know what? COVID take the wheel, because I can't drive this narrative any longer.

C'mon Fawlty, all it takes is one extinction level event and everything is good again.
