seeing how 2020 is going, im guessing its a mild case and the orange fuck gets re-elected on a wave of sympathy..... or he uses his health as an excuse to retire from the race saving face...pence is elected, the handmaids tale ensues...

Trump dying of coronavirus really would be maximum drama and very 2020.
Seems unlikely though. The chance of him even needing hospitalisation is only @15% (just based on age).
In which case, if he has a easy time of it, he's sure to use that to bolster his rhetoric.

Hah! Well I guess even him getting it during the sharp end of the election cycle is a fair bit of drama.
I don't think it really compares to Boris Johnson getting it. Both due to the election, and the fact that it was an earlier stage of the pandemic, after which Boris shifted policy.
Although if Trump got a serious case and had a change of plan, he'd definitely cop even more from his base and the Republicans than Boris did from the Tories for his restrictions.

Its possible that it might actually work in his favor. It humanizes him.

Lots of people have soft hearts. They aren't like the hardened killers of the war room.
