You trying to tell me these cops aren't baked as fuck?

but like... for real?

I haven't had theirs, usually I get the katsu and whip up a curry gravy at home. I fucks real hard with Golden Curry.

I do love a good ramen though, I've never had their sushi either. There is..well.. precovid.. a sushi spot with an insane happy hour I always hit up. The bartender would fill up a to go cup with miso soup and I'd hang out at the aquarium sipping miso soup trying to form an emotional bond with the sea otters.

People always think New Orleans is a cuisine city just for things like gumbo, but literally all the food here is amazing.

Although that hotel that collapsed that they finally got the dead bodies out of? That motherfucker caught on fire today.

Sorry your town is so fucked. Avenue 5 is fucking awesome. I loved Hugh Laurie in House (actually I was a fan before he ever left the UK) and I think he might possibly be even better in this. He's good in a dramatic role, but it seems apparent he missed making people laugh. There was the occasional episode of House played almost entirely for laughs and I think I enjoyed them the most. Same goes for Stargate SG1. The mostly comedic episodes they occasionally had were my favorites out of the whole series. Richard Dean Anderson is one funny motherfucker for a serious actor.

Not sure what you're trying to say.

"The ideal solution, of course, is to think for yourself and have enough integrity not to think of your political positions like fashion, but that's asking a bit."

I'm saying that for most kids in their teens and twenties, I agree that it is "asking a bit". But once someone is in their thirties or forties, it becomes less fashionable, and more dictated by life experience and what is practical. At least as far as economics goes. I still believe that certain "social" liberal and conservative issues have evolved over time. What was a major conservative in the 50s who hated Elvis, now adays would love him and wish "it was like the good ole times."

Culture isn't being destroyed by hipster joints calling shitty rice bowls "poke bowls", I promise.
I know. But I’m not ever allowed to be over the top?

The first hipster pic wasn’t accurate imo but in response to my reply it was perfect.

Tbh I just don’t think being a traditionalist is hipster. But maybe I’m wrong idk we don’t even really have hipsters out here.

I just took it as a snobbish statement is all. Most likely to come from a hipster.

I wonder if there were any @Social Distance Warrior types in the 1950s saying that they were going to vote for Eisenhower because they can't stand that gyrating reprobate.

To be fair, Eisenhower was a pretty decent president. He didn't push the social issues that he should have, but the 1950's were a rockin' time in general.

Don't know if this has been posted, but a little bit of local justice.

Central Texas sheriff indicted, booked into county jail

GEORGETOWN, Texas (KWTX) – Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody, named in an indictment Friday charging tampering with evidence stemming from an investigation into the death of a former Killeen high school football player after a chase in March 2019, was booked into his own jail Monday.

The indictment alleges Chody destroyed or concealed video in the death of Javier Ambler, 40.

Chody, who turned himself in, was released after posting a $10,000 bond, online records showed.

Jason Nassour, the general counsel to the Williamson County Attorney’s Office, was also indicted for tampering with evidence Friday, according to online records.

Police video and documents released more than a year after the death of Ambler, the son of an Army veteran who played football at Ellison High School, showed sheriff’s deputies used a stun gun on Ambler at least four times, despite multiple pleas that he couldn’t breathe following a chase that started in Williamson County after he failed to dim his headlights and ended 22 minutes later in Austin.

Ambler, who wasn’t armed and wasn’t intoxicated, became unresponsive several minutes into the arrest.

Yeah, he was fine, but I think it's just as silly to have voted for him because you didn't like Elvis than it is to vote for Trump or third party because you don't like some Tweeter or a random guy you see in the news.

Lol @ Chody. Fuck that guy.

But weird they’re mostly mentioning the victims’ father and his HS career, dude was 40 years old.

I did. I was a Navy kid.

Ended up in one of the worst shitholes in the country, and have lived in shitholes my entire life.

My uncles would tell us stories about these ignorant servicemen who thought they could act a fool like they would do in Asia or something.

They learned real quick when a couple yolked up Samoans and Hawaiians put them in their place. Real quick.

To be fair, Elvis > The Twitters

Yeah, KWTX is a crapshoot quality wise. They probably trolled the dude's facebook and took the lowest hanging fruit. Goes to show how awesome our local coverage is.

I think I only watched a few episodes of the show, any good?

I just got a gyro with added philly cheese steak meat. It's fucking bomb.

There's a local Japanese place I absolutely love though.

They have a family dinner for $35 that's such a good deal. Two miso soups, two tempura fried crab meat egg rolls, a fucking fat box of fried rice (the crawfish fried rice and drunken fried rice are baller) and a huge box of chicken katsu.

I haven't had their udon, I'm super fucking fickle about my udon noodles.

I got horrible food poisoning while coming down off of LSD from those damn noodles

Would would recommend checking expiration dates on food while tripping
