I have sold any in several years. We slowed down our production when we added the goats and sheep. But it's no more than a buck or two a pelt. See if there's a tannery near you that buys. I would think for it to be financially worthwhile you would need to do pretty high volume. If your goal is meat you're probably better off just focusing on that. Or let a couple grow to full size and try your hand at it. Worst case scenario you have a couple of stewing rabbits.

It does obviously depend on breed. Angora is going to fetch waaaay more that a new Zealand.
Hmm, sounds like too much trouble. Maybe I'd harvest a few hides for some novelty endeavor but mainly I'd like the meat.

How are the goats? Seems like they're a lot harder to raise. Is it worth it to get a milk goat?

@Prokofievian It will be very greasy, the fume hood, so I'd take it out (put some newspaper or whatever underneath it so you don't have to clean the stove afterwards), put it in a large sink or bucket and let it soak in Dreft. Get some old sponges and start scrubbing. I'd change the water often until the water isn't dirty after you're done scrubbing.

Dreft is a great degreaser, doesn't leave traces when you use it to clean windows either.

I've actually never had to clean a fume hood at my work, so I'm improvising here.

I had to have my place cleaned on short notice when moving out because it took us all the time we had to pack etc.

Let me put it like this, I think you can make a fortune there if you are self-employed.

Your firemen soaking the police in foam cracks me up.

As far as the dockworkers that's hilarious. The ability to shut down a port is massive and those dudes were scrapping in their uniforms.

There have been some good strikes in the US that doesn't make headline news (corporate run media doesn't want people getting ideas) but the National Labor Movement might go through with the promise of bringing certain industries to a grinding half. Especially with what just happened in Louisville.

Cool article if you're interested.
I’m always interested, but it’s unavailable in Europe. Thanks a lot.

For sure, I’m actually considering doing clean ups like that.

When we got our goats the intent was always to use the female for milk, but she keeps having twins, so there's no milk to spare. The theory is you get 6 to 8 months of milking after she kids, but I have no anecdotal evidence to support that. As for having goats, they're pretty easy to care for with a little bit of space. Our herd is currently at a dozen between the goats and sheep. They have a small shelter and a half acre pasture. I'll be processing half of them in the next 6 weeks.

Imagine using a stock image with the company name plastered all over it for your image macro...

See this is one of those cases where calling the cops only made things worse. Of course we need cops but increasingly I'm thinking that unless its obviously a case that requires them we're better off not calling them.

Day 7 of what? You really doing No Fap?

Also I was thinking about your post on the topic in the other thread, how your record was 76 days because you were in the hospital. What were you in the hospital for 76 days for?
Day 7 of my dubbs stint.

76 days in hospital for a Cessna plane crash

Man, remember this thread and how salty the cult got?

U.S. Admits That Congressman Offered Pardon to Assange If He Covered Up Russia Links
Republican congressman Dana Rohrabacher offered Assange the deal in 2017, a year after the emails that damaged Hillary Clinton had been published.

LONDON—Lawyers representing the United States at Julian Assange’s extradition trial in Britain have accepted the claim that the WikiLeaks founder was offered a presidential pardon by a congressman on the condition that he would help cover up Russia’s involvement in hacking emails from the Democratic National Committee.

Jennifer Robinson, a lawyer, told the court that she had attended a meeting between Assange, then Republican Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, and pro-Trump troll Charles Johnson at Assange’s hide-out, the Ecuadorian embassy in London, on August 15, 2017.

Robinson said the two Americans claimed to be emissaries from Washington and “wanted us to believe they were acting on behalf of the president.” The pair allegedly told Assange that they could help grant him a pardon in exchange for him revealing information about the source of the WikiLeaks information that proved it was not the Russians who hacked Democratic emails.

“They stated that President Trump was aware of and had approved of them coming to meet with Mr. Assange to discuss a proposal—and that they would have an audience with the president to discuss the matter on their return to Washington, D.C.,” Robinson said.
...
After Robinson read her testimony in a London courtroom on Friday, lawyers representing the U.S. accepted the witness statement as accurate and confirmed they had no intention of cross-examining the claim. They did dispute, however, that President Donald Trump gave his blessing for the pardon offer.

James Lewis, who was representing the U.S. government, said, “The position of the government is we don't contest these things were said. We obviously do not accept the truth of what was said by others.”

A good spot with spicy rice is fine. But most places dumping white rice in a burrito is a god damn disgrace.

East coast. Good burritos are hard to come by.

Hah, that's funny. I know quite a few dock workers. They're a special breed. Whenever politicians try to screw the working class, and thus dock workers (the ultimate working class imo) over, they take to the streets. A lot of the time, it's a riot.

It's quite common, yes.

Dock workers are something else dude.

They have a reputation for being straight up organised crime over here.

Charged some with felony Criminal Mischief for busting out three massive windows in our office and drenching the sidewalk and windows in red paint?.....

I think they are removing "go get them" K9s from the officer's toolbox.
Oh that's hella progress right there.

Saw a bunch of posts on twitter that amounted to "Once normie Dems accept the inevitability of court packing I think they are going to absolutely love it."

This picture captures the current mood imo
The leftist vs liberal memes have been fire lately.

Lmao. Lame. I'll quote parts that are cool.
Ahead of Labor Day, unions representing millions across several working-class sectors are threatening to authorize work stoppages in support of the Black Lives Matter movement amid calls for concrete measures that address racial injustice.

Although some unions have a history of excluding workers on the basis of gender and race, the marriage between the racial justice and labor movements goes back decades. That alliance was most prominently on display during the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, which featured the visions of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and Rep. John Lewis and was organized by A. Philip Randolph, a Black icon of the labor movement.

Today, Black workers are more likely to be unionized than any other segment of the workforce as a result of decades of collaboration between labor and civil rights activists, said New York University professor and civil rights historian Thomas Sugrue.

“That connection has only intensified because of the importance of workers of color, particularly African Americans, in the labor movement,” Sugrue said.

Public and private employers are faced with a “Which side are you on?” moment due to growing support for the BLM movement, said Maurice Mitchell, national director of the Working Families Party and a leading organizer in the Movement for Black Lives, a national coalition of 150 Black-led organizations.
