Hmm, sounds like too much trouble. Maybe I'd harvest a few hides for some novelty endeavor but mainly I'd like the meat.I have sold any in several years. We slowed down our production when we added the goats and sheep. But it's no more than a buck or two a pelt. See if there's a tannery near you that buys. I would think for it to be financially worthwhile you would need to do pretty high volume. If your goal is meat you're probably better off just focusing on that. Or let a couple grow to full size and try your hand at it. Worst case scenario you have a couple of stewing rabbits.
It does obviously depend on breed. Angora is going to fetch waaaay more that a new Zealand.
How are the goats? Seems like they're a lot harder to raise. Is it worth it to get a milk goat?
