Best bay in the world) and now after having a pet squirrel it's one of the few wild animals I don't like eating.


Shut your fucking mouth. I'm back to being poor. I'm going to bag me a couple deer this season, and since I ain't got no big freezer I'm going to cure a bunch of venison sausage and make plenty of jerky. The way I was raised.

Y'all fucking surface leftists need to realize. To respect the Earth is to take from the Earth. I've never trophy hunted (let a 13 point go once because it was majestic) but hunting is far more sustainable and far better for nature than buying packed meat that takes the guilt away for the consumer.

Maybe it's an Okie thing and taught to hunt by a Cherokee but deer is the best animal to hunt.

And that's coming from a dude who got poison ivy on my dick because me and my friend carried an orphaned baby deer in my coveralls for two miles and hid it in his basement until his dad found it.

As a bit of a side industry, they take people on trapping excursions and leave out piles of rotting meat at the edges of national parks. One trap line can decimate an entire pack. Fuck them.

When I was a young lad, it was a good way to make some money. The rm at the time would pay 20 a coyote. They were considered pests/nuisance and there was a big mange problem because there were so many of them.

I hate my thoughts.

Here's a weird thought pattern I always get into. What if you were the only person on Earth and you couldn't die until you performed some unbelievably time-intensive task, like take down every street sign in the world or destroy every piece of sand. Things that you'd think, "well, you'd never be able to do it," but in infinite time? Maybe it takes you a thousand years, maybe it takes you a million years, could you destroy every grain of sand in the world in a trillion years? I hate it. Immortality is such a horrifying concept to me.

I'm the opposite. I would love it. I mean, I wouldn't love it if beholden to some task I had to perform slavishly ad infinitum but in general, to be healthy and live for many human lifetimes would make me very happy.

I think the point is true and useful but also on some level odd to me. Guns are the only weapons we call "tools", we'd never call a sword or a missile a tool. I guess an axe could fit the bill though in that case its either designed as a tool(wood axe) or as a weapon(battle axe).
