I don't know if you've ever sumitted a mountain, but often there comes a point when you're not sure whether you're going up or down, and you look back and realize it's uphill from you the other way. That's the change in perception, stepwise and unclear.
No, I don't feel that any particular action justifies a violent response, but in the totality of the norm-breaking and the disrespect for life and law and the grand avarice, there is very little room remaining for the peaceful gathering of hearts and minds. And rather than outright condemn some theoretical violence beforehand, we're now to where I would have to debate its merits after the fact.
