It sounds silly, but not something to messed with up here. Conservation Officers have some pretty sweeping search and seizure powers. They can seize anything connected to the offence including all hunting/fishing equipment being used, boats, trailers, etc. We have some serious abuse (non-sexual {at least as far as I know})of our natural resources up here.
For sure. Our park rangers have some bigly powers as well.

My son and daughter are both down to try it. My son is really eager, he sees it as his contribution to the family. I've already got my daughter setting and checking traps. Got them pellet guns last year. Probably upgrade to .22 for them to share next year if they are still interested.

My family and some of my friends never understood why I wouldn't allow my son to play with toy guns
or allow them in the house, being that I am a "gun guy". Then they thought it was crazy when I got him
a BB gun at the age of four, and again when he got a .22 when he was 7, which he mastered both.
Last year he got a .410 and we just put together a 10/22 for him for this season.

Now they finally understand the concept of why I didn't want him to ever view a gun as a toy.

Ah yeah, forgot about TheGreatA, he's pretty solid in having that honest/scary combo. A few times he's been a bit naive with his ethno-nationalism, but I chalk it up to being from Finland and living a different reality than an American's.

JudoThrow... nah. I recently got into an exchange with him (can't remember the subject) but his arguments were like the typical American right winger.

I haven't had a back and forth with Judo in some time. I guess I should clarify what I mean. Judo may well rely on the same arguments against liberalism, socialism, etc. that right wing shit posters do (I haven't noticed that, but for argument's sake), but the difference is that he actually understands and desires the inevitable outcomes of right wing policy.

That is, he's not saying (like most right wingers) that public healthcare is bad because it's inefficient, that it lowers quality, or that universal coverage can be better achieved through ultra-corrupt private administration. He opposes it because he fundamentally does not believe people who cannot afford to pay current rates for their medical needs deserve medical care. Likewise, he doesn't believe Republican propaganda that regressive tax cuts will make the working and middle classes better off: he knows that they won't, but he thinks it's a more moral distribution. He believes (incorrectly, on this point, imo) that government redistribution of wealth and income does more to distort meritocracy than reinforce it and that, instead, we should be catering to the existing "producers" of society: billionaires. Most other, less intelligent right wingers agree with him (mostly as a matter of partisan acceptance) on policies, but they believe or claim to believe that those policies will better achieve the same ends that liberals seek: equality, fairness, happiness, etc.

It's despicable to me, but at least it's honest. @JudoThrowFiasco Let me know if I misrepresented anything.

What about siamese twin squirrels? Do they count as 1 or 2?

That Bloomberg thread is great.

"Voting is privilege', not a right". Fucking lost.

I mean...the first post was "how is this not election tampering???"

I Cormier'd and bounced. I figured it couldn't get any better or worse than that.

Donald Trump actually said this. In case anyone was wondering what a scum bag this piece of shit is.

“What the hell did he spend all that money on the plastic surgery if he’s going to cover it up?" the 74-year-old Trump said during a campaign rally near Pittsburgh in battleground Pennsylvania.

this Fn buffoon still doesn’t understand what masks are for

That's nice, dear.

It very quickly devolved into "felons should have no rights"

I didn't even bother. We're so far past the point that Republican voters/surrogates no longer take their own arguments seriously that it's a waste of time. Just like in that Florida riot bill thread. They don't even pretend to care about constitutional or practical implications yet won't bat an eye at later feigning being suuuuuper concerned about the First Amendment later.

I think the threshold for justifiable political violence has passed.
