I think there should be a call-back on that because he wasn't necessarily endorsing the message, just re-posting what was written on the youtube video that I had posted.

It's pretty good. I wouldn't watch it for its supposed political relevance (a lot of people started bringing out that aspect once Putin's shenanigans became known), its narrative concerning Communism seems somewhat aligned with the views of the American right at the time (which could be a turn-off for you) and the accuracy on what spies really did varies wildly between dead on and completely bogus.

With that said the scripts are top notch, some very good performances going on, the balance between episodic TV and longer storytelling arcs was nearly perfect and it's a real throwback to the 80s. The real 80s, not the pop culture 80s popping up on TV and movies lately.
