When you have to greet your husbands ex.......

If and when Melania divorces him post-presidency, it will be interesting to finally get a real glimpse into how much he's profited off the presidency. I'm assuming all his pre-marriage fortune and earnings are bolted down. And he probably tried to protect all his future earnings during the marriage as well, but I think it would be very difficult to delineate all of the wealth he's created post-candidacy as a pure product of his professional career.

Wrong.

I've been told the US is the only country where immigration occurs. The globalists want to destroy the West, therefore they push immigration into its most powerful country while everyone else gets to enjoy being insular (the way it should be).

Nice try though.

Wasn't there some news articles awhile back on how many expats working in UAE were treated horribly? I remember some guy being put in jail because he went into debt while working there, and his wife was stuck in Dubai trying to raise money to get him out.

It used to really rustle me when right wingers would pull the "why don't the Muslim countries take refugees instead of us taking all of them?" while countries like Jordan and Lebanon were cracking under the pressure of their huge refugee admissions, with Jordan taking in an amount equal to about 10% of its population and Lebanon taking in an amount closer to 20% (!!!). Meanwhile, the United States took in a fraction of one percent.

To be fair a lot of the immigrants in those places are slave workers.

Migrant workers in the UAE are basically slave labor is my understanding. Yeah, they make money but it's basically a token sum so the UAE can avoid being called a country using slave labor still.

I have a friend that lives in Abu Dhabi from the States and he said he's managed to make it work but it's that like "worst kept secret no one talks about" who lives there.

Yeah. From my understanding, they've made beautiful cities off the backs of immigrant slaves.

Like, I really want to go there just to see the crazy shit they have built in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Plus I have heard as a Westerner you can find tours and shit where you basically can live like a low level king for the time you're there.. while not havig to sell a kidney to do it.

But then I remember HOW the UAE got that way and it sketches me out.

Castle doctrine has been used to justify even more shocking incidents—such as the 2013 case in which Ezekiel Gilbert was acquitted of the murder of 23-year-old Lenora Evie Frago. Gilbert had hired Frago through a Craigslist ad that offered escort services for a $150 fee. Gilbert apparently believed the service should include sex, and when Frago wouldn’t have sex, he decided his money had been stolen. So he shot her. Frago was paralyzed, and she later died of the injuries. At trial, Gilbert’s attorneys centered their defense on Section 9.42 of the Texas Penal Code, which allows for the use of deadly force to prevent someone “fleeing immediately after committing burglary, robbery, aggravated robbery, or theft during the nighttime from escaping with the property.”

I am just glad I live in a first world country.
