Yes, the Soviets got to the Reichstag first, they were the primary force that took Berlin.... The 101st took the Eagle's Nest and rooted out the hierarchy in Austria and pretty sure the British/Canadian/American side of the allies didn't kill 1 German for every 2 of their own they lost......

They also didn't fight a war of extermination on their own soil. When you're surrounded by enemies, it's pretty easy to find enemies to kill. If anything, the Soviet war effort is mostly laughably undersold in the west by just about everyone but tankies, who go full retard in the opposite direction. It's all ''muh asiatic hordes.'' The soviets invented linear programming to defeat the nazis and out engineered their stupid, wasteful, ridiculous tank designs.

The funny part is the Colorado National Guard learned the age old lesson of "fuck around and find out" when it comes to murdering the children of immigrants who come from war torn countries lol. Those dudes could fight. The Guardsmen and their rich homies thought they were safe when the Unionmen descended on their camp in revenge and by God they got it.

This of course was no small incidence, throughout that era worker suppression by the police, deputized mining guards, and the National Guard was spread to all parts of the US and extremely brutal. Check out poor Frank Little. Another great Okie.

For his role as a union organizer he was tied to the bumper of a car, and dragged behind it until his knees were completely scraped off. They lynched him for the crime of standing up for the working man, and all throughout American history that crime has been most severe in the eyes of the US government.

It's neat how there's this right-wing narrative about public schools condemning capitalism and promoting socialism yet I NEVER learned about the extreme violence used by bosses against union organizers and strikers over the course of my entire K - 12 education.

It was only in seeking out and reading In Dubious Battle on my own as a teen (because I had liked the assigned Of Mice and Men so much) that this door into history began to be opened to me.

I'm offended I grew up listening to the likes of Eminem, Snoop, Ice Cube, Ice T, Biggie, 2Pac and others for that genre to devolve to shitheels like Cardi B.......

It was never the primary genre I listened to but fuck me... mainstream rap... it offends me that so many of the people in it are as big as they are......
