Never see Indians here on the road, although I've been to the dealer. The FTR1200S is actually a bike I could own. Still a little too much form over function for my liking, but at least Indian doesn't try to pretend that a lack of technological improvements is some sort of virtue.
There’s a nostalgia factor to Indian for me. Grew up with a neighbor that had one of the original era ones and I loved the thing.

Thankfully my nostalgia is mostly for late 80s early 90s Jap bikes, which are still cheap. They're definitely on that upward appreciation curve, but with a couple of exceptions (Suzuki Katanas and RZ500s for instance) they haven't gone critical like the bikes from the '70s and earlier. Nostalgia isn't worth more than $10K to me.

I take pizza a bit too seriously, but C on a pizza stone. I can't do cold pizza.

Seriously, who knew that was even a thing?

Next poll question: How does everyone like their ice cream?

A) Hot
B) Room temperature
C) Room temperature with ice cubes added
D) Straight out of the freezer like a crazy person

You guys get screwed on car prices, huh?

Absolutely. Small market in the arse end of nowhere with big distances being travelled, a massive area to service and strong consumer protection. Plus taxes. All the local manufacturers have closed, and it was even looking like Honda might close their official dealerships this year and switch to some sort of minimal expense online ordering system.

Damn dude, that blows. I feel like Australia would have great roads for driving. Such diverse landscapes packed into such a small area.

<Prem973>

This is almost surreal
Only the beginning.

They’re on vacation bro, they’re powerless to act to help the country
If only they knew this was coming they might have been able to do something
Two house dems confirmed that they don't want to do anything until January. As if all the problems will be solved with a perceived slightly less incompetent asshole will make a difference.

So.. are you an Anarchist or something?

Road trips and motorsports are still huge, we just pay through the nose. The local Classic Adelaide rally is set on some of my favourite roads to ride through the hills.

I thought all used Harleys were going fairly cheap these days, with the huge glut of owners reaching the age were they don't even pretend they ride.
One of the reasons HD is giving up, sacking hundreds of workers and cutting their model lines by about a third.
that and their bikes are shite...

You never had ice cream soup? Live a little man

C'mon now... just because they are overweight, under performing fashion accessories, big steel man bags, doesn't mean they are "shite". Some people don't want motorcycles that go, stop or turn corners, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Certainly with the average rider age getting as high as it is in most developed nations, retro bikes are all the rage.
Along with "adventure" bikes (the motorcycling equivalent of SUVs in every way), and supposedly Harley is still releasing one of those next year. Which is something new for them.
Looks a bit like a brick shithouse though.
