Jei, I can be a man here for everyone and admit something. I am the problem. He hates me more than anything in this universe and because I am still here and not banned or something like that he categorizes you guys as being on the same team as me or something in this wild conspiracy in his mind. I apologize for posting with him in the OT many moons ago. I had no idea it would spill into so many peoples lives years down the road.

To be perfectly honest and way too candid for the WR lounge, for some time I honestly thought I was part of the problem because I did not understand OT and WR relationships when I was donned an admin two years ago.

I kept a much more hands-off approach so that I could understand the areas and learn the drama that I was not privy to beforehand. I mean after all, this is just a 2011 account. I was only modded in 2016 after the White Belt Uprising. I wasn't banned in the past, I don't think I was ever even dubbed, but I built new computers and forgot passwords. I remember posting here during the early .net days; I am struggling to remember my account that I referenced earlier tonight but I couldn't even find several of my old usernames that I would have used back then. I specifically remember using my high school computers in the 2000-2004 era to post on Sherdog, so it bums me out that what I would expect to be numerous migrations wiping out my accounts.

I remember posting in 2003 for example when Tim Sylvia won the belt, losing my mind that a fighter from Maine (like a martial artist like me) won a UFC title. All those posts, lost in time like tears in rain.

All that to say that I love the crap out of Sherdog, and I don't regret any of the posts I've made over the years. I'm sure I pissed a lot of people off, maybe could have been banned, or otherwise marked in the same team as X or Y. I guess if I didn't love it like a lunatic, I wouldn't have been modded all those years ago or been upgraded to orange along the way.

DMF had a habit of just starting a random thread and asking people to post music videos and gifs and stuff and rewarding participants with lifetime plats. Happened once every few months.

Tachy would do it for long time vets and people complaining about things in support.

@AgonyandIrony I got stopped by cops in civilian clothing in a park once. I was using the monkey bars etc, and I saw them sitting there, knew right away they were cops just by looking at their haircut/clothing.

They walk up to me, start asking me questions, I say I’m just working out, it’s allowed. They tell me a lot of drugs get sold here, I say maybe it would help me with my workouts? I don't doubt that a lot of it gets missed, there's numerous different sub forums on Sherdog with several members, but the more of those posts we get the higher the chance of the forum being indexed by search engines.

well, he legimitately would get confused as to who was who due to relying on outdated IP tracing from the old software. It worked okay initially, but when mobile phone posting became more prevelant it put everything out of whack for him. I tried to explain that people posting in cities on mobile phones would be pooled to a single IP, but he just thought there was one master troll out there fucking with him through hundreds of accounts. He isn't lying with the "computer fogie" thing. It impacted on how he interacted with people as he just assumed they were THE troll.

You were a mod or Admin in years past, so I won't discount your experiences with him, as he was here for quite some time. However, the dude's cheese slipped off his cracker a while ago. He was absolutely unhinged and crazy in the experiences I had with him. He'd bait people into dubs, dub for what he personally declared "trolling", even though it was just opinions he didn't like, say the ugliest shit imaginable and then delete his own posts so you couldn't call him out, and just generally harass people and keep them walking on eggshells.

I think he might be legitimately bipolar as well, as he would have periods where he was chill, and would engage in the usual forum shit talking, and then just flip on a dime, and start laying down the law...his law.

He liked the power too much to just "walk away". At best, I think he at least got a warning about his shit, and perhaps that was the issue he had with the direction of modding, and rage quit.

Also, being 50 doesn't mean anything. The guy would make irrational and angry posts that I would attribute to a 15 year old girl on their period.

@BAM is pretty much on the money here, fogie didn't like the general modding consensus around certain issues and as a result he left.
