He stepped down back in 2014 as well, didn't come back until 2 years later. I think we had another Mod/Admin that would step down and then come back every couple of years.

got initially modded without anyone asking me if I wanted it. Wound up staying on as all the mods and DMF were my dudes.

first time I requested to step down DMF never actually removed my permissions and just changed my name green hoping I wouldn't leave. I just wanted a break to go back to regular posting and enjoy being part of the site again. That was around the time Luca Fury came at me in the OT stating that I was demodded, which was weird as I never spoke to him before and he never posted in the OT. Well, flamed him to death for fun, the irony. I would get in fights in the mod booth with a green name. I eventually went back as it was weird and I felt like a double agent in that space.

Then I stepped down and back in during that whole offshoot/Nostromo debacle. DMF asked me back a few times before I gave in after hearing of weird shit happening behind the scenes.

Then I stepped down and Tachy asked me back a few times sometime later. Then he asked me to admin, which I initially turned down and later accepted. This period of time is a bit foggy, I don't actually remember stepping down. Maybe I didn't. Defintely got asked about the admin thing over and over.

Then I stepped down again, I wasn't putting enough in to justify staying on imo. Never wanted to be like Crippler, just a hanger-on.

So, it's not so much I am wishy-washy, just loyal to my dudes, but I'm done now. No time. All the best to my mod bros.

Had a couple unpleasant Fogie experiences back in the day, but on balance he's one of the best. Especially the last 5 years. He's the most honest, too. Up there with Irish.
