The same one in which saying that climate is changing because of human activity, that cutting taxes reduces gov't revenue and doesn't noticeably affect economic growth, and that gov't spending increases can increase unemployment in a slump with zero interest rates are radical beliefs. Or that Biden is the favorite at this time in the 2020 presidential election. The very idea that some things are simply true, regardless of what one thinks of them, is being rejected by the mainstream right in America.

I think the original Karen stereotype was based Lois from Malcolm in the Middle and Kate from John and Kate plus 8.

Based on that I'm going with age range from 30-50. I also think a Karen must be married with kids.

Once menopause kicks in and all of the kids are out of the house they can transform into a Sharon like the below video. They will continue to attend school board meetings even though all of their kids are out of the public school system.

So glad I saw the show going to shit back in Season 2 and got off that train. Tried the books, but the writing (especially the dialogue) was teen mystery novel-level.

Have you read any early George RR Martin? I recommend Fevre Dream and Tuf Voyaging (a collection of short stories). It's light reading I suppose but good storytelling.

I just think it's ironic because I was reading Martin in the '80s and everyone was like "never heard of him" but now...

if I remember correctly JJ is associated with Nascar (sponsorship deals etc.). with that whole Bubba/noose debacle, the timing of this couldn't have been worse. they're just kids being kids. they don't know any better.

It probably has, but some of us haven't been party to those discussions. The Mayberry thread was way, way too active to follow, so HockeyBJJ has been pretty much my only discussion partner for the series.

I don't see why a Karen has to be a woman , if a man is being an angry entitled bitch I think they can be a karen .

I posted these in the Elijah McClain thread but my neighborhood looked gorgeous this evening. Fun historical facts. That's the oldest cathedral in the country and the Louisiana purchase was finalized in that building to the left.That beautiful park with that cool looking statue of a horrible person was once the site of an insane amount of torture and executions, and often weddings. Sometimes less than a day apart lol.

I love history. Now lets erase it.
