Of course I’d rather take my chances sick with Covid than sick with Ebola, but with the spread rate of Covid it’s clearly the worst disease many times over due to the vastly greater number of people it’ll infect and kill even with the lower mortality rate

I used the analogy of peeing in a pool. There was a group of people peeing in the pool, and then another group came along and started peeing in the pool too. Now group 1 wants everyone to think it didn't matter that they peed in the pool, because another group came along and did it too. But really, everyone in both groups are just people that piss in pools. Whatever the reasons are for pissing in the pool, everyones piss is still in the pool. And it's not coming out.

Okay, that's enough to wedge into "both sides." I guess maybe one day, with a lot of practice and hard work, the dunderhead maniacs of the right wing of America might achieve mere both-sideism, which would be a significant improvement over straight hypocrisy. So if you’re just going by the total number of deaths worldwide as the metric, then you would say the flu is also worse than Ebola.

So apparently the State has cut a deal with the Golden State Killer to plead guilty to avoid the death penalty.

My only question is, why? Dude is like 1000 years old. He ain't making it to his execution date, so why even bother? From the State's position, I can understand not wanting a long, expensive, and pointless trial. On his end though? Why bother? Ebola really is a nothing burger on the global scale at this point. The flare ups happen, WHO has learned effective standards to keep it contained, and it burns itself out quickly.

Obviously every disease sucks and rip those it has claimed, but one with Covid’s infection rate is far worse. The times Ebola has gotten in the US it’s resulted in 11 people getting infected and 2 dying. It’s a much easier disease to handle than Covid.

All that said, if you had to have one: Ebola, or Covid-19... which would you choose? Certainly Covid-19.

Are you arguing that only conservatives have contibuted to the spread? I agree that often times people try too hard to place blame on "both sides". But in that case, it seems pretty obvious that lockdown protesters, people flaunting safety precaution, re-opening and George Floyd protests have all contributed to the issue. Not equally, but again - please don't piss in the pool and tell me it's not a big deal because someone else pissed in it more. Please just don't piss in the pool.

saw pics of them on a site, in every one shes randomly pointing her gun at people , including her husband at one stage, finger on trigger, its a fuckin miracle it didnt go off.
