I feel it is Important to acknowledge your personal experience with ear pain, and also the ear pain of your ancestors should in no way be diminished by my current wish for widespread pinching.

There's a hardcore band called Defeater that has an album/character in the story they tell that touches on this. A black WWII vet who returns home only to face discrimination and ends up a drunken train hopper/travelling musician. He's the "prophet in plain clothes" in the story line. They have a whole EP based on his story line. Great band.

I think some of it was a handful of instigators where the intention was to get that narrative across whether or not they saw it happening or saw staff try to accommodate/ address their complaints. That’s mostly what the purge was. I don’t really see a lot of complaints lately now but I think we as staff have gotten way better in aligning and stating the key rules that could get people in trouble.
