Oh I think it was a defining piece of spoken art by what may be considered one of the greatest orators in American History and I felt he did an incredible job to put things into context the things I've been trying to express. Masterful.

He's addressed this topic in Killing Them Softly at length so people saying he should stay in his line are dumb. You could still get wine and beer from from gorcery stores and beer distributors but for hard liquor you had to have it delivered straight from a distillery or drive over to NJ (I think Delaware was refusing to sell to people with PA licenses).

It's like that in almost all of Canada at least until very recently. I was used to it growing up, but every time I go back for a visit it irritates me. Liquor prices in Canada are also absurd.
