War Room Lounge v132: Jack used rhetoric. It’s not very effective...

Hell, yes. I mean, adverse possession has to be a highly relevant area of law given that everyone writes about it 1L year. No way they'd waste our time on silly fringe practice.

I may have shared this with you before but this dude in my old neighborhood recently won or is close to winning an Adverse Possession claim against the city. He started taking care of this lot back when it wasn't worth anything. Now this is the hottest neighborhood in Philly and this parcel is probably worth over $1M

Isn’t that just squatting?

Trump's actions occurred during his term, but they arguably weren't tangibly related to his official duties. I don't think that's a very good argument, as it's very subjective and the posts were about a highly political issue and originated in the "official" presidential Twitter account, but it's an argument. Otherwise, I think federal charges would be dead on arrival per DOJ policy (not law).

In short, the turd had a coat of teflon.
The idea that presidents should be able to break the law is very strange. Trump supporters implicitly support his right to, for instance, beat the shit out of his family, keep sex slaves, steal from anybody, and on and on.

I'm trying to get my dad to list the house/property they live at higher than he wants. He wants to list it at like $750k.

I told him list it at 1.5 mil and be willing to sell for 1.25. Someone that owns a horse or two would purchase it instantly.

Why? The house is a bigger 4 bedroom 3 bathroom with attached large 2 car garage on 5 acres along with a separate stand alone shop. My friend's parents bought their house in the smaller town nearby for 179k like 2 decades ago when it was a new development. THAT house is worth $650k now.

This is gonna be a fun meltdown

Not that I'm a big facebook guy (I really just use it to help grow my business) but I've already sacked about 7-8 fb "friends" in the last few weeks over bullshit I've seen posted. Being that I'm in NASCAR country this is probably going result in a huge culling of the ignorant herd.

Double Indemnity or the Maltese Falcon for me. The Apartment (1960, so not sure if it counts as old), Casablana, Citizen Kane, and Sunset Blvd. are all high on my list.
Also would recommend Barefoot in the Park (a play, I know, but a televised adaptation with Micheal York that aired in the late 70's or early 80's); it was incredible if you can find it. Also any of the Thin Man movies and Strangers on a Train.
