@Deffid I don't know about you, but isn't it crazy that the two sports I follow, specifically the two leagues I follow (Bundesliga and UFC) are also the only ones already doing their jobs again?

Sean O'Malley is ... good

Like next superstar good

I recognize his talent for sure.

something about MMArtists, though, who "peacock" annoy the hell out of me. necktats, dyed hair, all that pageantry b/s.

at least he isn't a superdouche - he seems pretty chill for the most part.

YO. None of all ever told me Tucker Carlson defended :eek::eek::eek: traffickers?
Fucking rude.

Was listening to a podcast recently and one of the hosts told a story about how tucker told him about one night when he was driving drunk. Like super drunk. A cop pulled him over and he was freaking out. He was so scared. When the cop recognized him he told him all right. he was going to let him go because recognized him and he liked his politics. He's the every man obviously.

A poster in the Minneapolis police thread just argue, I think, that abolishing police in favor of community policing is a move toward an oppressive totalitarian government.

Is this what it looks like when conservative small government platitudes and conservative policy preferences actually meet?

I would have liked Greoric to be around. Wasn't he an alleged anarchist?

Does "small government" mean you can inflate any department ad infinitum so long as it accomplishes one of the few functions you think government is good for?

Because that's the impression I'm getting from that thread.

Anarcho-capitalist, I think.

But, yeah, even with his scientific racism he was preferable to literally every right winger in that thread.

Can you start liking the NFL just to be on the safe side ...

@HockeyBjj Joe Thomas is on some gladiator type show that's hosted by The Rock.

I hope AP does a show like that after retirement. Dude is as close to a genetic superhero as exists.

Yup. Don’t think he’ll ever get a tv deal tho with the kid beating incidents

So if anything its underreported? That's crazy.
Not terribly surprising. Aren't deaths only officially counted if they get tested? If you have people dying at home, you're going to miss some. I know some folks have been claiming that Covid deaths are being inflated by counting people who are shot etc (no idea if this is true, but all I got was "look into it" so it's probably not), but the annual death discrepancy technique linked above accounts for that.

So COVID deaths have apparently topped 110,000.

But I am hearing about how the numbers are a bit inflated, is there any merit to those arguments or is it flubros trying to downplay COVID?
It's higher if anything , do you really trust red states to count honestly ?

Lucky you.

Hospitals that are short on cash figured out they could list anything as a COVID death and get big bucks from the government for it, so some of those numbers are false based on greed. At the same time, a lot of places can't test for COVID because why test a dead guy when someone alive may need it? So it gets listed as not-COVID when it very well might be.

I figure it probably breaks even overall, but for a massive scary pandemic that supposed to be godawful across the board 110k in a country of 350+million is.... not very scary at all.
The actual data does not support the idea that anyone is inflating COVID-19 death numbers nor is anything breaking even. It shows basically every country, the US included, is under-reporting deaths by a significant margin. See the link above on this page.
