I'm a big dude, a fatbody if you will.
I mean, it's true that you're carrying too much, but you're going to be a big (and strong) fuckin' dude no matter what. You've got Samoan genes or something.

It feels that way? Lol no offense but you don’t understand the process needed to make an arrest for even a minor crime, let alone a major one. There’s a reason citizens aren’t making too many arrests. Do you know how to get a judicial declaration of probable cause, get your case to the prosecutor and get a conviction? Even police can’t just detain somebody without a judge’s approval. Chauvin was arrested about as quickly as can happen.
Oh yeah when it comes to their own I know cops are really hesitant to arrest or even reprimand them but of course with citizens the cuffs come out real quick.
Cops already are and have been filmed constantly.
And we see that they don't like it as evidenced by videos like the riot police shooting a woman on ehr own property with a paintball gun and the attempts to criminalize the filming of cops.
The fact is that a fatality occurs in .00009% of arrests according to 2018 statistics. Yeah, Chauvin should have been canned long ago probably, based on his prior complaints. That’s an issue. Accountability is an issue that needs to improve. I support independent civilian oversight boards for review of internal affairs actions, which we do have here.
Right, an issue cops seem really reluctant to deal with on their own until it gets some spotlight.

Btw lol at patting yourself on the back for fatality rate. This is the cop mentality, if they don't kill or beat you within an inch of your life then they've done a good job

Notice how that's what they fall back on, "N-No one got killed" so therefore who cares if cops are harassing people, racially profiling them, humiliating them in public and detaining them unjustly. So long as the citizen wasn't killed its not a big deal and if they are killed then expect them to deal with each other with kids gloves the way they did with Guyger.
I don’t think going “Wild West” on everything is the way, I certainly don’t see citizens arrests as being safer as we just saw in Georgia. And as there, the issue was with the prosecutor’s office.
I don't think its the best idea but I am not going to clutch my pearls over it. The videos of abuse by officers I've seen offends me a lot more than a few broken windows.

The nationwide looting and rioting started after the cop had been arrested and charged though.
It might not be just about that imo

First we had the Arbery case which was disturbing , a week after that you had the hag with the dog in Central park and then we the George case , three fucked up situations in short order , combine that with warm weather and boom

Douchebags that drive their mom's old BMW with an iPhone 11 and a brand new TV and Apple watch that listened to Dead Kennedys once and now think they are an Anarchist.

So I keep what I was saying earlier.

Working as a bouncer you get SOME people trying to step to you cause they want to prove how tough they are. But the first time regulars saw a fight breakout and me and the other guy that was a former lineman charge the fight and break up a 7 person fight by ourselves suddenly the regulars that might test you... were our best friends.

Is it story time yet? I want some of your favorite 'idiot squashed/carried out by the waistband ' episodes.

I'm doing what I can to work on it.

It's the thing that people seem to forget. Big dude's may not be fast but we have to carry our weight so our legs are strong. And we usually know how to use said weight to generate power.

The dude was arrested on Friday and a lot of people think 4 officers should have been arrested. Didn't the rioting start midweek in some cities?

This also happened right after the Arbery video and the Breonna Taylor shooting seem to happen at the same time (I have not been following the Taylor case at all).

Arbery shooters got arrested and charged with murder once the video came out. Karen got fired and doxxed.

I'll be honest, I'd take the bait at this point.
Lol you’ve had donuts on the brain.

Yeah I’m not saying protests aren’t appropriate and helpful. You need to organize people to make them get out and vote for change. You need to make the voices heard.

But I think being arrested for murder is a much stronger deterrent than seeing cars you don’t own set on fire. Destroying property only hurts the overall cause of improving policing because it wastes resources; it doesn’t make any officers do anything except push back stronger.

Riots don’t send any message about use of force, they justify use of force. The arrests send the message.
Bit of a side note, I don't think we totally understand the fair comparison to past police vs. today's police yet. It's really obvious to all of us that accountability is increasing, not decreasing. And cops' awareness of their responsibilities on use of force is obviously increasing, too. Internal investigations seem more transparent, and body cams are helping us get the truth. For a few years I've had the idea that cops are simultaneously getting a lot better and our perception of them is that they are getting worse, due to there being so much more information now.

I'm glad sherdog is cool with the repeated calls for killing that has gone on all weekend.

You tried to report a whole thread?

<26>
Lol it needed a mod in there bad to stop things going off the rails anymore than it already had , wasn't even trying to report a single poster although there were numerous posts that could qualify .

I mean, the whole yellow vest thing popped off because of a gas tax and plenty of right wingers were all about it.

The protests in Minneapolis didn't though. And as others pointed out George Floyd was not the only race related incident of 2020, a lot of tension has been building.

Good point, who knows what pigs got away with before we could film them?

This is what I'm talking about , it should have been nipped in the bud , it's batshit in some of those threads .

Yea, I think most people agree that the looting and property damage is bad, but we have multiple people calling for them to be murdered.
