Not as bad as I imagined. He’s actually spot on up to the point where he fails to condemn the destruction of small businesses . Positive change wasn’t going to happen anyway.

That’s a huge “but” though and it really ruins the majority of his point when he goes down that route. Think how bad the point “there’s no right way to protest” could go.

I think this is a more extreme example of coupling that @Jack V Savage talked about recently. The riots are being tied to a larger goal/ purpose and therefore are being justified by some people. Just crazy imo someone could go that far in doing so.

What makes conversations even more difficult as well is that people are so emotional charged over it that they refuse to even have a thought that maybe it isn't justified to go to these lengths, or maybe the damage is exceeding the goal/cause. I would have assumed that only the radicals support this but that hasn't been the case. Funny that online forums are actually an easier place to talk about it.

Mannnnn one of the GOAT cartoons lol.

How dare Trevor Noah
He's not even close to the first to publicly espouse this view, though. I first heard it said years ago. Whether one condemns these violent and destructive riots or not (and I do), they are understood by many to be the direct result of the seriousness and the lack of action on the fundamental problems that precipitated them. Just my, apparently not terribly valuable, two cents.

always gives me goosebumps

Mitch outranks all of them though.

no doubt brotherman.

never really gave Iced Earth a good listen except for when Arlovksi used to walk out to them.

The Blind Guardian / Iced Earth collaboration is worth listening to.

There is stuff going on I didn't think I would see on video from the United States. Journalists from Deutsche Welle, despite identifying as such, getting shot with rubber bullets is among them.

Maybe other issues it becomes clear that change isn’t happening but this one didn’t seem to be the one where that made sense. You had a large large majority you don’t usually see for any topic agreeing this cop did wrong and murdered that guy. So why does a riot need to occur beforehand or even after he’s taken into custody? To me, that looks like it’s being tied to other things rather than this specific event which is going the way you’d want it to if you want justice in our system. Like we can’t create a system where we know not a single cop will do this but we can make one that if they do it, they are losing their job and going to jail for it.

I fucking hate yard work
I feel you
My gfs yard is rather large and had mad weeds due to excessive spring rain

I borrowed a weed whacker but it still took me a good 45 mins in 106 degree heat

Good times?
Edit: my bad if whiny, we dont even have grass to mow/water and no snow shoveling. It could be waaaaayyyyy worse haha

Luckily I got a cooler full of IPAs and spiked Arnold Palmer's.

Taking a break to watch an episode of Entourage now.

Our police like to riot too. It's not just the protesters, the cops are every bit the same sorts of lunatics.

Leftist gadfly Matt Bruenig made an argument for rioting (and against MSM coverage decisions regarding rioting) a few years back. It's such an emotionally charged issue that it's probably pointless trying to discuss it, though. Without seriously studying it, it seems to me that it tends to be counter-productive, and it also seems that most protestors believe that and that many people instigating riots do too.

Yeah but my neighborhood is on the outskirts of the city.

It's been quite outside of Center City.

All we had around here were some drummers.

How's your area?

Not a peep, too many Marines and Vets and gun owners around here. Plus nothing valuable to loot haha

I havent heard anything about the larger cities like Riverside, Indio, or San Bernadino

Our Casino opened up last week, which is only really noticeable bc it's the only Tesla charging spot that I know of for like 25 miles. And they have like 10 of them

I stay seeing white Model IIIs there now.

Theres also one generic charging spot near the Chamber of Commerce and that's it. None on base either AFAIK

Not sure if it even qualifies as an organization. Read that sentence again that way.

The United States of America will be designating ANTIFA as an Organization.

I think anyone saying that should not be taken seriously and laughed out of the room.

Of course, this is in line with Trump's general pattern of forward defense and always attacking.

Seems unlikely. King Diamond's ''Am I Evil?'' written in 1979 has the palm muting chugging already.
*Diamond Head;)
Hammet is definitely Ringo. James and Lars wrote basically all the songs. Hammett just writes solos that are sometimes good. There were more than a few times in their discography where I thought ''gee...I didn't really need to hear that Kirk.''
Point taken. I think I just dislike Lars as a person more than Kirk but you're right. Remember when Kirk said he lost his cell phone that had these great song ideas on it so he contributed basically nothing the "Hardwired" CD? Definitely a hack in proportion to the success he's achieved.
