I didn't say you did but its one logical interpretation of your statement

No it isn't. I said right off the bat, that I couldn't care less if you didn't like it. You're making this about something it never was. You're allowed to have your opinion, and I'm allowed to have mine. This was about if the President was allowed to do it. He is.

which was made in response to a moral critique of the president's actions. Sure these decisions are up to the president but even if they are lawful decisions shouldn't citizens be open to morally critiquing them and don't you see how they might reflect poorly on the President?

Again, I couldn't care less about your opinion on the "morality" of the situation. That's your opinion, and nobody is obligated to agree with you, just because you, as a leftist, naturally fancy yourself as some bastion of moral authority.

We're done here. Trump is allowed to go where he wants, and the Secret Service is allowed to take all the measures they need to, to keep him safe. The end.

Can I ask where the beans come from?

Most everything else in those English style breakfasts I get where they come from.

My understanding is sausage in general but especially blood sausage quite often was the cheap cuts that butchers and other merchants used to feed their families. Eggs are obvious as is tomatoes and onions and mushrooms. But the beans appearing has always confused me.

Also, is there any actual difference between Blood Sausage and Black Pudding or is it mostly based on country you're in? I knew a French exchange student that got Blood Sausage from her folks from time to time (obviously not fresh) but every English person I've met calls the stuff Black Pudding.
blood pudding is never called that except by foreign devils, its always know as black pudding, fuck knows where beans came from, theyve just always been there in the uk diet.
edit...now i want a fry up...

It was glorious, you should feel terrible for not taking advantage. No excuses, do better!

Also, my 2 year old got into the pop tarts (which we really should not have in the first place) and fed them to the dog last night, so I was up no less than 4 times letting her out (the dog, not the kid). Just saying, I feel you on that one.
It has been a brutal couple of days sleep-wise for me. I'll hit the weights today for 30 mins and try again tomorrow.

You are right, though. No more excuses!

an actual genuine thread title on this page...
How much less rioting would be occurring if we located our ghettos farther from major cities?

I‘m pretty sure police brutality was the topic. I said, if the prosecutor doesn’t get voted out, if the sheriff doesn’t get voted out, if the mayor keeps a corrupt police chief in office and doesn’t get voted out, then nothing has changed.

Policing and prosecution is a local issue and local politics require people to be engaged in the voting process for change to occur. You don’t even need that many people. Voting is very consequential in local politics and nothing you’ve used to deflect from that (national civil rights issues) has convinced me otherwise.

This is not an issue (police brutality) where you necessarily need judges to change the laws. It’s already illegal. If the people in power aren’t enforcing the rules, aren’t punishing offenders, and they still aren’t voted out there won’t be the change you want to see.
Uh okay but as I said while voting is important for local politics its the culmination of a grassroots strategy that means little on its own. Like I said if you have no power over what appears on the ballot the power of your vote is limited. You said voting is the best method, I simply said that on its own its not enough and even your posts since then have implicitly admitted this given references to the more vague phenomenon of local, grassroots politics which involves a lot more than mere voting.

No, its about more than that. Its also about whether it was appropriate. We don't just judge the government's actions based on whether its legal or not, we judge them based on their morality as well.

I'm not asking anyone to agree with me, I'm simply asking for an evaluation of the morality of the decision of the POTUS. You're desperately avoiding the conversation because you know its largely indefensible on moral grounds so you'll hyper-focus on the legality of it. Lots of immoral shit has been legal throughout American history and it was a public discourse on their morality that helped bring an end to those legal injustices. If we left it to people like you those conversations wouldn't have happened and we'd keep our heads down and accept them.

So yeah we're done here, its plain for everyone to see that you're a Trump sycophant who will defend him at all costs and in any weaselly way possible while avoiding the more serious implications of his actions. I get its not your country so the breakdown of norms of civility doesn't really matter to you, it might as well be a ballgame for you, but for actual Americans its a little disconcerting to say the least.

Hot take: I think there's a non-negligible possibility that Cruz would've been worse than Trump.

I don't think you're wrong. Trump is a vindictive autocrat wannabe, but he's also a dyed in the wool moron. He's the guy wanging away at a screw with a hammer and wondering why it doesn't go in.

Cruz would bring that same shitty attitude, but also a screwdriver.

Black Pudding is basically the blood and like trimmings and shit all slammed together right?

Kind of want to get the stuff to try making this myself for breakfasts as long as I am working from home.
