I think there was.@Revolver wasn't there a $10k refundable tax credit for first time home buyers in response to the 2008/2009 recession?
I see people complaining about this $10k student loan forgiveness program the Dems proposed and it got me thinking about that credit.
I think there was.
What's this 10k student loan forgiveness program? Any loan over X amount with consistent payments they wipe away 10k of it?

It looks like it's in the Bill that Pelosi brought to the floor to vote on:Haven't looked into the details but it was part of the original new $3T spending bill to combat COVID-19.
I don't know I'd it made it into the final bill though.
But some people are pissed about any student loan forgiveness programs
What about forgiving any loan or debt up to $10k?

I know it's the Washington Post but it's the first link I got.
Some people hate it.I trust WaPo. I subscribe to them and NYT
Well those should be included too.I don't have a problem with it my point was this type of qualified/targeted government subsidy isn't unheard of during recessions

That would require too much effort.Call your Senator and Congressman
Unless I'm Mormon and don't smoke or drink they don't give a shit out here.Call your Senator and Congressman

Just something I was thinking about. Like what if someone had a few thousand in credit card debt from education or training?
I missed the boat on Mosins and AKs.
When I first turned 18 you could get a case of like 5 to a case of them in plastic wrap and the cosmoline still for like.. $300.
NOW, Century Arms garbage is the only shit you can get for that nice price.
You want to do an AR in something other than 5.56 do a .300 Blackout pistol:I remember getting SKS from a barrel at a gun show for like $100.
I paid $550 for my last AK at a pawn shop, probably the best place to get a decently priced Mosin or SKS that hasn't been bubba'd these days.
I've actually been considering getting my first AR but I just find the aesthetic so bleh compared to the AK platform.
AR pistol in 7.62 with wood furnishings with a brace does seem appealing. Especially since the draco has gotten so damn expensive lately.

Get a suppressor and go pew.
I think it was KONE or Palis, I forget - one of them tried to make the argument that "redneck" is a racist term, like the "n-word" to white folks.
I said that was retarded, a redneck is someone from the south who works on a farm with their neck exposed to the sun, & that we up north are "yanks".
so stupid, but hilarious.
@Lead when did white belts get thread creating privileges back and can you take them away again??
I've seen some pretty .300 blackout "pistols" on r/gunporn.
That's why I think it's funny when people here say shit like "far leftists are scared of guns" and I'm like nah, most leftists I know are armed.
Have you seen this? I posted it in another thread and it still cracks me up.
