War Room Lounge v117: It's best for those of us with no ambition to start with.

The Elite controller is the best controller possibly ever, and I've used most of them. The only comparable one is the GameCube controller and that's because of the analog shoulders.

The DS4 is super overrated imo. Parallel thumbsticks alone are downright silly, especially when you have to keep your left thumb in an unnatural position to use both. A full button spread (thumbs, index, and middle fingers) feels awkward as shit. It becomes an even farther gap when you start using the paddles on the elite controller.
does it come with a sweet battery pack?

Nintendo? Seems to me that Nintendo specifically caters to children and is largely played by middle aged men who never moved out of their folks place and upgraded from their childhood console.

But I don't play much, so maybe I'm off and not picking up on the Nintendo gamers' sophistication.
User's aside, Nintendo the company has actually made some very smart product design and marketing decisions with the Switch. Comparisons to Sony or Microsoft usually fall flat because they aren't competing for the same customers or in a comparable technological arms race.

The series 2 is apparently able to carry something like 20 hours of charge. And it comes with a dock to charge it in the case. Pretty high tech.

I stopped after ps3. hardly used it.

the only reason why I'd get a ps4 would be for The Last Guardian. but with ps5 on the horizon, I might as well just wait for a legit ps4 emulator to come through (it it ever will anytime soon), I mean I've waited this long to get back into gaming.

#pcmasterrace

Um excuse me FFVII Remake?

Homegym master race checking in
My home gym is inching closer to legit “baller” status. However, it is no substitute for the gym. Getting decked out in Zumas and a racer back tank top with my hat on backwards just ain’t the same when I’m heading to the basement.

There's a reason that to this day they still make them.
Its Super Smash, that's really the only reason

We joke about it a lot, but I really do think I actually found a Sherdogger this time

I was never a hardcore gamer. never legitimately played any of the FF games.

fite me
If you kinda like JRPGs but don't want to get into a massive on-rails fuckfest like Final Fantasy, try Phantasy Star IV for Genesis. Great art style, impeccable pace of play, rewarding looting, solid tactics and boss fights. Possibly the best RPG of all time when it comes to balancing all of the elements.

I don't know what kind of evil magic Nintendo put on the Wavebird, but I found one that I hadn't used in something like 10 years and it still turned on. That controller is still a beast. Smash bless.

I don't know a single person with a home gym.

I think location might have something to do with it. In the south, a garage gym is basically out of the question. For 8 months a year, it's an absolute hell hole. Fuck working out somewhere that's 90-110 degrees with 90% humidity and no ventilation.
Lol I’ve been working out in my garage gym like that since well before this lockdown. 8 months a year? We’ve got two seasons here: rainy and not. Always humid though. I’ll give you that it’s mostly 80-90 though and not 90-110.

You could also wait for nightfall or early morning hours.

google says internal battery, so it's okay i guess

i had this discussion with @HereticBD some time ago and couldn't believe regular, current gen controllers still used batteries and you had to buy a pack seperately <45>

I prefer removable batteries to be honest. All batteries lose charge eventually, and it's far more economical to replace the battery than it is to get the controller serviced. Unfortunately it's just one of those things I've had to accept as everything becomes integrated.

if the recharge pack came with the console i wouldn't care

not that i can't afford it, it's just the principle

everything you've said went right over my head. was never really into RPGs TBH.

I used to love Mega Man series, Pro Wrestling & a few other games for NES

Super Mario World, DBZ Butoden 2 (had to burn the slots in the cartridge to make it fit into my console haha), Pilot Wings, & of course Street Fighter 2 for SNES

after that I really didn't care for games anymore but was always in the loop because my buddies never stopped. I did at a point in time master Marvel vs. Capcom 2 at the arcades haha.

then the GTA3 phenomenon hit me & voila - I was hooked. but I never really played a lot of games outside of the GTA series safe for Shadows of the Colossus, Assassin's Creed, Infamous. I never even beat GTA4. I got up to the last mission, & my car flipped over, so I just said "fuck it" due to laziness haha. oh yeah, Bully & The Warriors are fucking great.

but I started d/ling games recently to test out all the hardware I have.

the games I guess I'm really into are Rockstar games. Shadow of the Colossus is right up there with my love for GTA games.

Why would anyone expect him to croak? He just seems like another Reagan to me, a guy who's in great physical shape for his age even though they might be gradually going mentally. He's probably going to make it to 90. His father lived to 86.
That's rather unnecessarily confrontational phrasing, don't you think? I didn't give the likelihood of it any thought because my interest was more focused on the general case, so I can't answer your question.
