So my customer just announced they want us to cut our team by even more, we had planned on about 1/3rd, but they want it to be more like 1/2 or more.

I'm still essential though.

It's such a weird time right now. Some companies are still hiring as evident by all of the recruiters in my network posting job listings every day. Some just froze hiring and it's business as usual and some are letting like half or most of their staff go. Weird how this whole thing put an odd importance on some jobs and didn't affect others and decimated the rest.

there are so many series revolving around the central Krakoa story by Hickman - super interesting.

I've only read one series straight so far, but it's kind of confusing/hard to follow. you have to follow all series in order to piece together the mini stories unfolding into the larger one. but it's crazy nevertheless.

I pretty much stopped buying comics in 2015 after Marvel cancelled the X-Men books for a short period.
At the time The New X-Men was the best title the X-Men had in literally 20 years. I was gutted (and they did it to f with Fox, not for any creative reasons) so I rage quit. I did buy the Secret Wars event that followed and some of the new Doctor Strange issues that Chris Bachalo illustrated, but then stopped altogether. They’ve jumped the shark on so many storylines that I just can’t see them rebooting their way out (reboot is never the answer anyhow). The last I heard, Apocalpyse and Sinister were both X-Men. That broke my heart.
