War Room Lounge v116: Where does the "incestuous" part come in though? That's the juicy part.

religion......................a popular cult
cult ............................an unpopular religion...

Basically.

Christianity was a crazy Jewish sect when it first started. Ancient times in and around the Mediterranean region had loads of crazies claiming they were the son of god. By some luck (or skill of the early Christians), Christianity caught on and spread.

Which is crazier to you, Christianity or Judaism?

Did some light reading last week on early Christians and how, when Christianity surged, it did so with gentiles.

Advising citizens to text pics of mask/social distancing offenders to authorities.

We have seen the enemy, and it is us.
Such a waste of time, like anybody has the time for that kind of “investigation.”

But at least de Blasio has such strong support from NYPD.

here's a fun graphic I made

it's just a flu, bro

You mean how crazy their holy texts are? I think it's a 3-way tie between the 3 Abrahamic religions, though I've never studied them closely.

As for the behavior of their adherents, Christianity has to take the cake between those two. They're a proselytizing religion so they're bound to be nuttier. A Christian vs Muslim showdown is more even. Obviously Islam has more fanatics in the last several decades, but Christianity in the entire pre-modern period was absolutely brutal.

Nice!

It's crazy how different both Christianity and Islam spread. Christianity took a few hundred years from the death of Jesus to make its way to Europe. Meanwhile, less than a century from Mohammed's death, Islam had spread from Iberia to India.

Do you think Christians were the most crazy or perhaps between the coin flip between the 3 they just happened to be the luckier ones? Also, with Islam attacking them for centuries especially on the south of Europe which sparked the crusades do you think maybe they fought for what was a defensive position?

As for Judaism, do you think they might have came out on top because they stayed and watched the other two fight while playing both sides?

Speaking of Americans electing billionaires with no experience, I've actually been very pleasantly surprised by J.B. Pritzker in Illinois. I have a bit of inside knowledge on IL politics, and Pritzker's office has been working exceptionally hard, taking several left-wing positions, and working to tackle administrative redundancies. He's also a natural politician. Needs to lose weight, but still a natural.

First reaction,
So did COVID-19

Second thought,
But seriously, it caught on mainly due to the idea of the golden rule and everyone thinking for themselves what it means to "believe on Jesus", imo, but was subsequently co-opted by moneyed/political interests and turned into the very thing Jesus railed against when he was in Jerusalem. Now you have preachers on TV saying, "Just help me buy another jet and you'll be assured of salvation in Jesus' name."

Is this supposed to mean a "glitch" in the Matrix? Sorry, I haven't seen any but some of the first. Not a sci-fi guy. Or an action guy.
It means de ja vu. I could swear I’ve read that same post

Yeah, after I posted it I remembered that I had complimented JB recently, where I called him merry.

But, to be fair, he is very merry.
