When celebrities lose their production teams...

Best thing i seen all week. Hes such an uptight snob i thought my eyes deceived me.

I dont think mahers like the rest of the night hosts. Hes an actual club comedian and is capable of working on his own. I keep hoping he will get canned and move to the internet and do his his show rogan style. Ive always liked maher hes an asshole but hes not afraid of his own team

I dont like this eye patch dude. Rogan fucked him up so bad the other day he should still be hiding somewhere nursing his wounds

Yeah, he's not someone who will blow you away with any given performance. He's no DDL, but he's solid and dependable, which is almost just as rare. You'll never see a bad performance from him, but you'll likely never see a truly great one either.

Yup. He was pretty bad in Gangster Squad, but that's because he was terribly miscast.

Islam was right about women (sometimes)
I always hated that, that the good guy has to just take shit from his women because he's the good guy. I mean of course in a relationship you should tolerate the shortcomings of your SO but in the case of that example that's pretty egregious, I'd find it hard to forgive an ex-wife if she did that to me.

I am only half joking when I say that when it comes to family law Sharia law might actually be better than US law.

To be clear, I'm saying it's sexist against women, not against men. No one comes away from those depictions and thinks "oh man, every guy should be unrealistically whipped by a tyrannical, soulless woman." It definitely isn't meant to prescribe behavior.

Something like Blade Runner 2049, he's perfect as a replicant. But I just don't see Gosling as the type of actor who could seamlessly fit into any role. One dimensional, but still pretty solid in that one dimension.
I’m so disappointed 2049 didn’t do better at the box office. And, yeah, Gosling was a perfect fit.

Yeah, more people on video this week. Like maybe a quarter to half of them in several meets. There were prompts to start doing it (video). Saying it helps stay connected. I get up early and shower 3 days a week, but the day they were first suggesting that I had a cigar going in the morning with coffee and dirty clothes behind me. Same sweatshirt and jeans as the day before. Hair lookin' like a clown wig. Pass.
Same on the share screen.

Yeah I'm definitely sporting a homeless beard and I don't shower until Noon so no morning cameras for me
Ah really? I always wanted to see that movie because of Carrel, Stone, and Gosling.

Emma Stone is the most overrated actress in terms of looks possibly ever

can't stop laughing at Jizzmo Gay. Man I''m baked.

I think a lot of chicks take their cues from movies and a lot of them do infact think they should be allowed to act like that and men should be submissive to these women

And, man, 2017 was a great year for Green. Shoutouts ITT to two of the four movies he wrote that year.

I think he can be great but only in the hands of a great director. He's not the type of actor to carry a movie or turn in a superb performance in an otherwise terrible movie.
I have not seen Drive actually. But I heard that was a gem of a movie. I'm a big film buff but kinda fell off the past three years due to my job. Tough to find time to watch movies but I've been catching up recently. Like, a few months ago I finally got around to seeing Logan. That might be in my top 10 all time favorites, possibly top 5. Amazing movie.
Drive is really good, can't recommend it enough. Has my favorite car chase of any movie in the opening scene.

That's how they come off to me, that the guy should always try to take the high road.

As a kid I did not like pretty boy actors like him but Gosling grew on me with performances in movies like Drive, Place Beyond the Pines, and Song to Song. Definitely recommend Drive if you have not seen it.

I think he was implying you hate her for political differences which, in your own words,...

Drive is a great movie.

So few lines , but Gosling was able to act , using his character's odd facial expressions.

Grossly underrated film

Ever seen him as a crack smoking HS teacher making friends with his student, or the time he was in love with a fake sex doll, and made it believable?

There was a time when Gosling was doing some ambitious roles.

Drive was like a modern neo-cyberpunkish (music wise) version of Mad Max in that Gosling barely spoke a word, all he did was drive and be a bad ass.

I think he's great within his own abilities, if that makes any sense(probably not). There's something about his look and roles that make him less versatile. He's good, but he's always just a few degrees off of making you believe he's someone else. It's the Jack Nicolson effect. Great actor, but you can tell he's just playing different versions of himself. He's missing that extra layer.

Absolutely correct.

The elevator scene is probably one of the most beautifully shot scenes in recent memory

I think she's gorgeous but at the same time even I am kind of surprised that so many people agree with me. She has a certain je ne sais quoi to her I guess.

One of the movies that I have consistently recommended with good results.
This movie Crawl is pretty good.
The crocodile movie?
I love animal attack movies, especially ones with reptiles, so its definitely on the back log.
@Kafir-kun ,ps.

I'm quitting weed. Not because I think I had a problem (only once every other week). I think it kills my drive...my ambition
Well the less drugs in your life the better but if you're only doing it once every other week I don't see how it would have that kind of affect on you. Seems like the kind of problem daily smokers have.
