War Room Lounge v116: Where does the "incestuous" part come in though? That's the juicy part.

Accompanying the event's Facebook page is a Facebook group of more than 7,000 members dubbed "Reopen Missouri." The group's cover image is one of Mel Gibson from Braveheart, a movie which ends (spoiler alert) with the main protagonist dying while experiencing tortuous, agonizing pain. So far, so apt.

Here is the group's description:

Here's how we can provide greater protection to those who are most vulnerable to COVID-19:

1. Ask everyone over 70 and anyone with serious underlying health conditions to hunker down more than they have been.

2. Ask the rest of the population to get back to work.

3. Mobilize those who have already tested positive and recovered to cater to the needs of those who are most vulnerable.

Now is the time to reopen Missouri! So, to recap:

1. Into the cellar with you, grandma! We're gonna head out into the world and spread this shit like wildfire; you go ahead and live in absolute isolation — hunkering down even "more than [you] have been," in the words of the same exact people who believe the level at which we've all been hunkering down is akin to tyranny and torture — while the rest of us cough all over everything and overwhelm the hospitals so that when you fall down and break your hip in your house there are no ambulances left to come help you. It's for your own good!

2. Back to work, everybody! Never mind the fact that demand for most goods and services will be absolutely decimated whether these businesses are open or not on account of the many, many people staying home and sheltering in place under the advice of scientists and medical professionals. And never mind the fact that if you absolutely must work, you can likely get a job at a grocery store or hospital sanitation team right now, since those industries are booming. Not scared? To the front with you, then!

3. Ah yes, because there's been no problems so far with getting tested, right (HAHAHAHAHA)? Also, P.S., you can help those who are most vulnerable now; you don't need to wait until the government allows you to get your nails done again. Make a casserole and leave it on your elderly neighbor's porch if you need something to do so badly.

Well, the threshold needs to be a little bit higher than just hurt feelings. Plus, most grown adults do not automatically believe someone is a "terrible human being" just because of political differences or because of their race. Sounds like you need to grow up.

He does do that, but I'm not sure that most grown adults avoid it. You don't. Also, he didn't describe hurt feelings as much as unfitness for office.

Thailand has over 27 billionaires. I did not know this.

(US has 540 btw)

Yeah, I was thinking 24-25, tops. Crazy shit. Everyone overlooks Montri Jiaravanont, but he's a billionaire too.

Only mentioned since their PM asked the wealthiest to help with response to virus.

So is Vajiralongkorn (30 billion)

"I prayed for him..'cause I slaughtered him son" hahaha

Somebody must have shown him the internal polling numbers because he's been going extra crazy this week and especially today

So much so that this flew under radar:

Maybe they don't realize that all the single-digit IQ fascists are already firmly in his camp. He really needs to start aiming for the center.

But these people can't help themselves. All they know is aggression and belligerence.

no fucking kidding...

I have three...FUCKING THREE every week

Me too. 3 at least.

Strap yourself in. I have had a minimum of two per day and three or more total most every day since this started. Four or five several days. Which was starting 3/14, here. WFH. Skype or whatever. The early two each day are very brief, in fairness. However,...

I've been on multiple Skype/Google Meet meeting almost everyday but I think there have only been 2 people who actually used the camera feature.

We use it to screen share so we can present and review work papers

The International Solidarity Campaign „One World. One Heart”

#staybrave #strongertogether #lovecandoanything

Under the motto ”One World. One Heart”, iMapp Bucharest – one of the most important video mapping events worldwide, organized by Creart – Bucharest Municipality Center for Creation, Art and Tradition – has launched an artistic initiative that brings a message of solidarity and hope all around the world, in the international context of the coronavirus pandemic, that has generated the current measures of social distancing as a necessary preventive measure.

The public awareness project of the mutual support – „One World. One Heart”, implemented internationally through visual arts, was made pro bono by the artists involved and it was technically and logistically supported by private partners.

46 international visual artists were invited to create 3D animations with a duration of 10 seconds, starting from the same visual template – a heart, that strengthened worldwide, through the creative force, the message of the solidarity campaign. The artworks were reunited into a single video that will be simultaneously projected on the façades of buildings from all over the world: Bucharest (Romania), Budapest (Hungary), Monterrey (Mexico), Seattle (USA).

In Bucharest, these artworks were projected on the façade of the 2nd largest building in the world Palace of Parliament on April 17th 2020.

Yeah, more people on video this week. Like maybe a quarter to half of them in several meets. There were prompts to start doing it (video). Saying it helps stay connected. I get up early and shower 3 days a week, but the day they were first suggesting that I had a cigar going in the morning with coffee and dirty clothes piled on a couch behind me. Same sweatshirt and jeans as the day before. Hair lookin' like a clown wig. Pass.
Same on the share screen, that's the main reasoning for doing it, to show project/task progress.
I did see the "fade background" or "blur" feature available so they only see you and not your background/surroundings, too. That's a plus.
