No context should be needed for something straightforward and honest. I dislike most of the Asian men I've met, primarily Japanese and Chinese men. I don't like their personalities, and I don't generally relate to them. Korean men are fantastic in my experience, fwiw. But I like their culture well enough and I respect their honesty and courage. With Vietnamese people I've known, it has been about 50/50 whether I liked them or not. Women from those same cultures, I dig across the board. They're all pretty cool. And not in a "yellow fever" sense.

"Liberal" is good enough, and "Moderate Progressive Liberal" is maybe the fairest label. I'm about where Buttigieg is, and a little left of where Obama landed. I'm for progressive causes basically down the line, but achieved via incremental, moderate approaches to change that push from the center rather than pull from the left like a Sanders platform.

The best example to delineate my political bent is the approach to universal healthcare. It's a goal I share with the far left, but instead of the M4A approach appealing to me, what I like is offering the general public a plan that private insurance can't match for basic healthcare and maintenance, forcing them to specialize or offer added value, expanding baseline healthcare until everybody who wants it, gets it.

Whether such a plan or policy is workable or not, the point about the political position is in the philosophical/sociopolitical details. It's not a tipping-point revolution that should be sought, but steady, attainable progress.

a press conference, by it's very nature, is political due to the presence of the press corps. he could have just given a presidential statement if he had wanted to. considering the oftentimes toxic relationship he has had with much of MSM, I think it's to his credit he simply didn't do so.
and the main reason for that, and thanks to his handlers for designing it in that manner, was to showcase what I believe to be, for the most part, a stellar group of experts, Fauci and Birx I'm looking at you, for comments and updates.
the guy is a blustery, egotistical, misogynist who made his name and fortune in the dog-eat-dog of the business world.
he's not a smooth talker like the faux-attorney turned POTUS Brocko so it's ugly and funny sometimes.

Good grief. Visiting the parents again and some CBS sitcom with the fat guy from Mike & Molly was on. Not only are CBS sitcoms the lowest form of television (below reality tv and soap operas imo), but they also recycle the same unfunny Jay Leno-style hack actors.

I'll never forget its name. Been wanting a remake or a similar game made for a long time. Just love the weird mix of RTS and Arena Fighter.

I've never heard of Soul Reaver, but the only non-sports games I ever played on PS1 was that, Cool Boarders, and Twisted Metal. Kind of surprising that Twisted Metal hasn't had any recent generation releases given how popular the brand was.

I kept dying on the descent into the basement, after the methhead was done was talking/trying to plead with me. over & over again, then I launched a grenade so it would ricochet into the dude only to have it blow up the gasoline container, making me fail the mission yet again.

I got super annoyed so I just dove right in while the guy was talking, before he turned hostile.

that's all it was. you have to descend into the basement while he's nervous before he regains his methhead confidence against you & starts bucking shots.
