When I first saw it, I'd never heard of deep fake and didn't know it was an edited video. And it seriously crossed my wires.

Admitting to being a cyborg are we?

@HockeyBjj @Falsedawn

Owners officially approve expanded 14-team playoffs.

I'm seriously so fucking sick of the yearly tinkering by these worthless owners looking for validation of their stations. It undermines competition and disrupts the continuity of the sport. They've already eliminated effective man coverage, downhill tackling, and any semblance of historical congruity in terms of passing stats. Now they've effective ensured that there is no tension in playoff races since nearly every team north of 6-10 will get a spot.

Have they posted how seeding works? I'm not even sure how that's supposed to be functional with wildcard rounds.

Yeah, division winners still host wildcard round, but only top seed gets bye. For instance:

Wildcard:
2v7
3v6
4v5

Divisional:
1v4
2v3

It’s all about keeping kayfabe.

Left-Wing Doctrine was already horrid enough by casting every homophobic scumbag as being gay themselves before they started turning gay children into transgender circus acts.

Well that's kinda retarded. I guess they got tired of teams with first round byes getting washed by wildcard teams.

Do you just have trouble following the puck?
Everyone has trouble following the puck. There are parts of the ice that are not visible on TV and you can’t see some of the goals.

And it’s really tough to see how great some of the shots are in real time.

This is just my opinion, hockey is an incredible sport but the thing keeping it from being bigger is the above.

The NFL is the best covered sport in terms of TV camera work. The sport is gorgeous and the angles are great. Baseball is also well suited for TV. I just don’t think hockey can be. And the hardcore fans squashed the trail on the puck.

Just fucking facepalm. The NFL playoffs are amazing and these greedy assholes just can’t leave it alone.

Really wish everyone would stop buying up all the god damn isopropyl

I use it to clean my bongs and pipes, and my supply is running low

I wonder if Trump goes full asshole and makes fun of him on Twitter. That was my thought seeing it

I hope that would be beneath even Trump, but he did just compare his viewership of addressing the nation to the Bachelor finale for TV ratings
How can anything be beneath making fun of a tortured prisoner of war in a country so heavily invested in "supporting the troops"?

It's so frustrating. And I would bet the majority of fans feel the same: that these boners are fucking with the horse that got them there. I really don't think the constant rules changes of the past 20 years have had any positive effect on the sport's awesome growth.

I once saw a mullet that went down to the guys belt , perfectly straight hair , it looked so bizarre but in some strange way it was also impressive .
You can't teach that kind of dedication.

The only rule changes I've supported is the push to not let people launch at dude's heads (though the way the Eagles were allowed to blast Packers player after whistles and shit helmet to helmet this last year with no penalty stands out) and the rule change that disallows o-linemen from chop blocking already engaged defensive players.

Yup, agreed. I hate the QB and PI rules most.

Yeah, that's my biggest thing too and the proposition I'm most opposed to.

Vic Ketchman has had a few good bits on how not maintaing respect for its history has been the league's biggest flaw and could end up contributing to its downfall. I think that's particularly true with expanding the regular season again. When you lose the historical context and the drama of competing against past generations, the season/game basically becomes like an arcade mode where the drama of the single games themselves are the only thing keeping people's attention.
Read "preposition I'm most opposed to", LOL'd and thought it was related to @BarryDillon's post (see above) but I should have known that was beyond too subtle for you.

My social media feed is getting swamped with videos of motorcyclists (mostly motovloggers) saying they aren't going to ride during the Corona lockdown because the potential for accidents, and therefore additional burden on the healthcare system, makes it too socially irresponsible. Not from Australians or anyone whose videos I've watched previously either. Makes me wonder if someone's been "tweaking the algorithm" for motorcycle related content.
