I’m watching one on Rasputin and just finished watching the one about Idi Amin.

I get how Amin got to power. Dude just fucking took it and killed anyone that questioned him.

But how did Rasputin not get outed as a fucking mental druggie?

In D:OS2 there's a guy that starts as a human, turns into a world ending demon, and then permanently possesses one of your characters and uses her against you. If you don't kill him fast enough, she's lost forever.
