What does it do differently though to justify the difference in cost?

What's to justify? It's an MPX. I saw it, shot it, liked it, and now I own one. I don't care about value lol, I'm not on a fixed income.

Pretty sure my mom used to read his novels

I've heard of him, but that's about it. All I really know about him, is that the movie "High Tension" apparently ripped off one of his novels, and I only know that from when I was really into the horror movie scene.

If you haven't heard of Dean Koontz yet, you're about to. Apparently he wrote a book(The Eyes Of Darkness) in the 80's, that is eerily similar to the situation we're going through right now.

I don't know much about it, other than that it centers around an outbreak that spawned from Wuhan China.
I've read that book

Not great

I'm going to be really pissed off if we all end up quarantined and in a recession just because people don't know how to wash their hands and not touch their faces.

Have you looked at the AKV too?

Why you ignore me bro?

I've read that book

Not great

His reputation of being a rent-a-Stephen King seems legit, and Stephen King himself ain't all that great, so I don't doubt it.

Still though, I always like the strange little coincidences in pop culture with events like these, even if they're far fetched.

Odd Thomas books were good tho
Hands down, his best book is Phantoms. There's some cool shit in there, like a guy getting his face eaten by a giant prehistoric moth.

Dean Koontz can't hold a candle to Stephen King.

I've read some of his thriller/suspense/scifi novels. False Memory, Night Chills and Watchers. Weren't great.
