You're just mad because I proved you wrong.

It's a sign of maturity being able to admit when one is wrong.
You actually didn't prove shit in that thread because you were the epitome of a fucking donkey yelling hee-haw with their head in the sand. You would call it a victory if the NRA goes "hey look WA, they banned magazines up to 30 rounds but we kept your 10 rounders! WE WON!"

No, you fucking didn't.

It makes me wonder why @Gregolian is being such a Fudd in this instance?

I'm standing up for everyone's gun rights, while he's only willing to participate if he gets everything he wants immediately.

Some talk the talk, while others walk the walk....

<Fedor23>
You're the fudd. Here's why

1.) You support an organization that is full of boomers on their board and has an outdated perspective on firearms

2.) #KeepAmericaTactical. Why is it every NRA trade show I see or NRA convention it's all the legacy companies like Winchester, Remington, and Weatherby or Savage the only ones there showing the new Monte Carlo stock on their same derivative bolt action guns

3.) NRA likes to point to Europe for what they don't want (the ownership numbers). Know something fucking hilarious? A piece of equipment they were ok with putting on the NFA list (silencers) in GERMANY you are REQUIRED to fucking hunt with one. Know why? So as to not disturb the animals and other potential hunters in the area with the loud crack of a bullet.

4.) SHOT Show may have it's troubles with them only allowing in industry people and such and I will give SOME props to the NRA for allowing anyone in to their trade show. There's a problem though... EVERYTHING about the NRA screams old fashioned. You rarely if ever see companies like Sig show up with their new MPX to debut at the NRA. trade shows or a Daniel Defense booth. Why? The fudds are more scared of the young people with their new fangled AR15s and AK47s than the goddamn Democracts are

5.) The NRA signed off/ok'd shit like the NFA. Why? Cause it banned "gangster weapons". Need I remind anyone that the time period Italians were slammed against for racist shit as much as almost any other new group to the area?

6.) The NRA consistently flip flops on the universal background check stance as they see fit for the nature of staying at the forefront

7.) The NRA stays essentially fucking silent in instances of black gun owners getting a raw deal (*cough*Heller*cough*)

8.) The NRA in the 20s through 40s ADVOCATING for gun control restrictions that had an intent to reduce the rate of ownership among minority groups:

Based on the NRA's track record of dealing with shit like the NFA and Brady Act... if they had their way you'd be lucky to have a double barrel shotgun over a single shot muzzle loading shotgun.

Heston may have said "from my cold dead hands" but let's not ignore he was holding a fucking musket when he did so and not a modern rifle.

Oh yeah, there's also their lovely spending scandal:

They had a bonafide fucking Russian spy in a top area spot of the board or near the board.

Oh yeah, I also think bump stocks are stupid... but the NRA was perfectly ok with the ban on them. Another instance of "well shucks, they banned the bump stock but we kept you your magazines!"

I miss anything @Falsedawn or @RerouteToRemain ?

EDIT:
WHEN OLIVER FUCKING NORTH and BROWNELL throw in the towel on your can ass organization there's a problem.

To fucking add.... if the NRA were truly "From my cold dead hands" their monikers would be closer to shit like this:

But with the NRA... if they were the Spartans?

"Here, take Athens and Argos and half of Sparta but let us keep a portion please"

Folks like @Trotsky @Lowmanproblems @Jack V Savage and others of the more liberal leaning may label me a zealot/radical with my rants against the NRA for not doing enough.... but at least I stand by my fucking convictions.

I USED to be an NRA member, I used to donate a buck or two every time I bought ammo to them. No more, ever since I ended my membership they call me twice a year trying to get me to sign up again. GoA and FPC at least provide options to get you a lawyer if your gun rights are at risk for something related to you pulling on a person for self defense.

Does the NRA actually look out for the little guy like that? NAH, they just line Winchester and Remington's pockets to promote them and then give LaPierre a bonus.

Looks like you're gaining a nice fan base. Keep up the good work man.

It really is the Lords work.

Fudds are the scum of the earth

Communists are worse.

Now go sit the fuck down. I didn't give you permission to speak.

Anyone with eyes and a brain that is a gun owner knows the NRA is not:

New chlamydia species discovered deep under the Arctic Ocean
https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/10/heal...LaGtTJ1EVLVSfhcT0vcNBor5s_iWibVnhKOA4VCqLFG-U
When people hear the word chlamydia, they usually think about sexually transmitted infections.

And it's true that the specific bacteria that causes chlamydia typically depend on interactions with other organisms to survive.
So when a team of researchers discovered several new chlamydia-related species deep below the Arctic Ocean, in a place with no oxygen and without an apparent host organism, they were surprised.
"Finding Chlamydiae in this environment was completely unexpected, and of course begged the question what on earth were they doing there?" Jennah Dharamshi, a PhD student at Uppsala University in Sweden and the lead author of a recent study, said in a news release.

The findings, published last week in Current Biology, could shed new light on how chlamydia came to infect humans and other animals.
They came across a number of diverse cousins of chlamydia between 0.1 and 9.4 meters below the seafloor, and found that the new species were closely related to the bacteria that cause infections in humans and other animals.
Bacteria 'exceptionally abundant'
While the authors didn't find other host organisms that the new chlamydia-related bacteria depended on to survive, they said that the species could be getting fuel from other microorganisms deep in the ocean sediment.
"Finding that Chlamydia have marine sediment relatives has given us new insights into how chlamydial pathogens evolved," Dharamshi said.
A team of international researchers made the discovery by collecting samples during a visit to Loki's Castle, a field of hydrothermal vents in the Arctic Ocean between Greenland, Iceland and Norway.
What makes this discovery particularly interesting, scientists said, is the environment in which the bacteria were found.
At a level so deep beneath the ocean's surface, there's almost no oxygen and extremely high pressure. But researchers said they found that the new species of bacteria were "exceptionally abundant" in this part of the ocean -- in some cases, they were even the dominant bacteria.
That could suggest that chlamydia and related bacteria play a much bigger role in marine ecology than previously known, researchers said.
For now, scientists don't know for sure what that role is. But this latest discovery signals that there could be more of these bacteria deep under the ocean's surface. And that might lead to some answers.

Lmao tighter than it is now that’s for sure. I was still competing back then. I’m slowly getting back there, though, as far as tightness goes but not athleticism.

Delicious.
